Anyone ever watched the baaxing at the movie theatre/theater?

Its definitely something you should experience at least once. Downside is no beer was allowed. Much cheeper than PPV.

The 3rd round of May Mosley was crazy.

 

My brother and I caught Mayweather-Guerrero in the cinema. We just wanted to try it and figured a lower profile fight would be best for a trial run. The undercard was fun (Love-Rosado and Mares-Ponce De Leon) and even though the fight itself wasn't great, for $13.50 it wasn't a bad deal. I personally prefer paying for the PPV and making a party of it though.

 

Older Posters might remember this as the standard way of seeing big fights decades ago if you did not live in the Host Nation but wanted to see them live, In London i saw Sibson Vs Hagler and Holmes vs ****ey, at a Big London Movie Theatre, Live by satellite Feed, when coming from america you of course had to hit the cinema's at
2.30am 'ish Great Atmosphere, with quite a few ****ney Quipsters voicing a humorous Pre-fight opinion and depending on the brevity of the outcome you could find yourself rather disapointed and back out on the cold Pavement/sidewalk at 4.00am... and with the public transport not getting up and running until 6.30am'ish you could start to ask yourself if it was worth it or not, especially if you had not trained your body-clock for the Time difference, Feeling like you've been pummelled in the head yourself the next day, of course Transport links should not be a factor these days. But great atmosphere as the tension mounts... good memories
