As he should be. Degale was a better amatuer and is
a better pro than scirrell ever was or ever will be. I
fully expect Degale to comprehensively and non-
controversely defeat the boy-ish and thugg-ish Dirrell.

So in U.S. odds DeGale is -150, while Dirrell is +120. Those odds are from European sites, no U.S. catering sites have placed odds as of yet. Sounds about right, once the U.S. catering sites post odds the lines will, probably, move in favor of Dirrell (as in increase DeGale's value).

What makes DeGale a better pro?

Dirrell, despite what the scorecard said, beat Froch, and beat Abraham

DeGale has probably beaten better opposition lately and is probably in better form atm that's why he is the favourite. Should be a close fight but Dirrell is a very difficult guy to beat.

I'm a little surprised but it will probably be a close fight anyway I was thinking the home fighter would be favourite

DeGale has a good defense with quick hands so Dirrel will have a hard time moving/ pot shotting, although he could outbox him. I would favour DeGale if they start trading, he is pretty solid and sitting on his punches these days. I do wonder if Dirrel is past his best as well.
