Pro Boxing is different from virtually all other sports. It has no all seeing governing body and thus is run on a pure Neo Liberal Capitalist model. It absolutely makes sense to have PPV fights if they can increase profits.

To be honest, I feel more comfortable paying that little bit more every now and again. Knowing that at least a little bit will go towards the fighters. It is also still a lot cheaper than actually going to the fights.

Both Froch and Groves paid obscene amounts in 2014 and Hearn made a packet.

Matt Legg (Joshua Can) earned an absolute pittance for taking a similar punch to Groves.

Top Sportsman paid far too much at the top of every sport including boxing.

If Sky chopped PPV for good, the fights would still happen.

    Frampton should beat Quigg comfortably.

Anthony Joshua v Dillian Whyte good grudge match and probably steal the show.

If the build up was good I'm sure it do ok.

Many are very poorly paid, even big names. Often this is because of bad management and signing contracts they should not have.

Tim Witherspoon for instance, was shown in court to have been paid as the defending champion £90,000 in his fight at Wembley with Frank Bruno, despite being promised a Million pound pay day.

PPV's help boost their pay days, and the top fighters are now getting involved in promoting their own fights which helps them too.

Well no, sportsman are paid for their popularity. If we live in a neo liberal/conservative society, then they are probably underpaid, as promoters are taking too big a profit.

Agreed. The sportsmen/women generate the money so they deserve to get paid.
