Canelo could get a shot at the best MW in May if he and his team had wanted it. He's fighting Kirkland at a catch weight instead.
    Cotto does not want it.
The WBO and IBF belts are tied up.
Don't expect a Haymon fighter at any weight to get in the ring with GGG unless it's a mandatory or unification.
    What do you want?

Get ready for him to say Lemieux, even though Lemieux has agreed to fight N'Dam for the IBF belt. Not to mention GYM filing a lawsuit against Lemieux and Golden Boy:lol:

? How does fighting a guy who began his career at 140lbs, make GGG a monster?

WHO is the actual *****? Cotto knows he is NOT a middleweight so how does GGGs career or Cotto's, hinge on them fighting one another?

And **** all that WWF "belt" bull****... Fans know who the man in the sport is regardless of "belts" and other such WWF "oooh he got the champion's belt!" nonsense.

AGAIN: Cotto is TOO SMALL for Middle. You can cry about wanting to see GGG in a cute gold belt all you want though.

Agreed ...said it many a thread ....calling cotto names for not fighting ggg proves alot to me about what kind of fan u are....I'd say 90 percent of the guy who do that aren't fans or are mentally unstable

I think Canelo would benefit from not having to lose those few extra lbs. Maybe be able to fight for a whole round.
As for Cotto, all he has to do is vacate that belt and he takes himself out of the Beat Down lottery.
You have a belt in the MW division, then you are a MW. Simple as that.

Bro are u 5 years old? U know the point I'm making....yes right now as of today he doesn't ....stop being literal....you sound like a baby.....

The point is he did .....but no one ever considered him a jr middle......he fought there once ......cotto could vacate and never fight at 160 again....he's not a 160 fighter and u should know that.....he's not a ***** for not fighting ggg ......

That's precisely what I was anticipating. I really don't understand this antipathy towards GGG.

I never said Cotto was a b*tch. He has the WBC belt at MW and the Lineal MW title. He is a MW now.
Cotto has 1 voluntary defense and then he has to fight GGG or vacate. Call it being literal or anything else that you want. It doesn't change what it is.
He bought that belt off Martinez and now there's a monster attached to it.
    You sound like a spastic:lol:

Most people don't follow the situation close enough to have an informed opinion. They just want to complain about things that can't happen. Dipsh*ts:lol:

Spot on, mate. I just thought Golovkin would be a favourite, especially among casual fans, given his outstanding knockout percentage.

GGG isn't a Hip-Hop American swag f@g, so there's a certain group of casual fans that will never come around.
