Burley's crippling power would make his win over Duran much more decisive than Benitez's win over Roberto.

I agree here to...in the one film of Burley, he really has the respect of light heavyweight Oakland Smith.

Roberto Duran was far less dominant while fighting at a heavier weight than as a lightweight. As a result, I would favor Charley Burley over Duran in a welterweight or middleweight bout.

It may be that Roberto Duran's best win was his first bout with Sugar Ray Leonard, but he was losing far more bouts after abandoning the lightweight division.

I'm not seeing the Burley and Bennitez comparison to be honest

Wilfredo Benitez, weighing 152-1/4 pounds, won an unanimous decision over Roberto Duran, weighing 152-1/2 pounds, in a 15-round bout in Las Vegas on January 30, 1982. It was Duran's 3rd defeat in his career up to that time, but his second one after abandoning the lightweight division. Both Benitez and Charley Burley fought at heavier weights than the lightweight limit throughout their careers.

You're are talking about career paths and how they are "kinda" similar. I'm talking about bennitez not really fighting like Burley and thus not getting the comparison on how it will go like that
