    COMPARE AND CONTRAST THE FOLLOWING:

Both Joselito Lopez and Jean Pascal were fighting in their respective hometowns. Both suffered KO losses to their opponents.

FIGHTERS THAT WERE KNOCKED DOWN AND RULED KNOCKED OUT:

    Joeslito Lopez & Jean Pascal

Should either fighter have been allowed to continue:
    a) Both fighters should have been allowed to continue
    b) Neither fighter should have been allowed to continue
    c) Only Lopez should have been allowed to continue
    d) Only Pascal should have been allowed to continue

    THE REFEREES:

Raul Cantu Jr. (Lopez vs Berto)
    Luis Pabon (Kovalev vs Pascal)

    Do you agree:
    a) Both fights were stopped accordingly
    b) Neither fight was stopped accordingly
    c) The Berto-Lopez fight was the only one stopped accordingly
    d) The Kovalev-Pascal fight was the only one stopped accordingly

I'm all for allowing a fighter the chance to redeem himself if he is knocked down. Big difference between the 2 fights is that Lopez went down and got up, then went done---from my perspective, I thought he was trying to buy time and get his legs and mind back. But the referee stopped the fight.

As for Pascal, his legs and mind were gone, he was in no shape to continue.

We all complain and moan about premature stoppages (myself included), but I'd rather a fight get stop prematurely rather than a fight getting stopped too late; leading to a serious or fatal injury.

I just thought they were both too early but early is better than late so its not a big deal

Both were good stoppages to me. Pascal was in more trouble though.
