I'm all for allowing a fighter the chance to redeem himself if he is knocked down. Big difference between the 2 fights is that Lopez went down and got up, then went done---from my perspective, I thought he was trying to buy time and get his legs and mind back. But the referee stopped the fight. As for Pascal, his legs and mind were gone, he was in no shape to continue. We all complain and moan about premature stoppages (myself included), but I'd rather a fight get stop prematurely rather than a fight getting stopped too late; leading to a serious or fatal injury.
