Who do you think will get beaten first, Kovalev or Golovkin?

Geale also ranked #4 by The Ring and #7 on Box Rec. What were they ranked before they lost to GGG?

Very hard to say! I think there is more talent at light heavy, but Kovalev is one more big fight away from sweeping the top three rated opponents.

GGG is highly avoided and might be forced to move up in weight.

    Neither is losing anytime soon.

Oh my bad he's fought two semi top fighter's smh, what is Murray known for besides losing to an injured Martinez? What has Geale done beside win a super paper IBA title? GGG is actually a cool fighter but make this make sense. I mean usually people say ranking don't matter its about the opponent an what they've done until a guy like GGG comes up and suddenly the titles and rankings are important. The simple fact there's not one impressive opponent on his resume

Murray arguably beat both Martinez and Sturm

Addressing your point about impressive opponents, there aren't really any at Middleweight

Who would be an appropriate opponent for Golovkin in your opinion?

I mean you basically just said there is NO ONE currently in the top 10 at MW that is going to boost his creditability. All the action is at 154/168 it seems like everyone is terrified at the idea of Gennandy moving up, so his best bet is one of these JMW's doing what he's scared to do and move up to 160.

    Whichever one fights Ward first.

On a serious note though, I would guess Kovalev purely because he seems to have more dangerous opposition willing to face him.

no one 168 and under can beat Triple G so i voted Kovalev since he will have Beterbiev problems next year. Pascal shouldn't have been tagging him like that.

I think Kovalev will be the first to go down. This may have to do with the competition but I just see more holes in Kovalev than GGG at this point. I also feel like Kovalev pretty much has only 1 or 2 weapons and the boys he fights naturally hit harder so the puncher's chance is stacked against him a little more. GGG has more weapons and I feel like when he gets hit in fights it's pretty much because he wants to get hit.

I can't see Kovalev taking flush shots by a guy on rosados level like GGG was so I'm going with Kovalev to remain undefeated longer
