So snr containing about not understanding roach, but when he or roger speak it's not totally audible/legible neither. I think Jeff speaks well. As for roach he doesn't get over his head sometime and generally needs to STFU too

I personally think he is highly overrated as a trainer.

Roach: "I....do nothink...you know, Floyd Sr issomething**** judes you know? ifeellike onedayipriebn"

Floyd Sr.: "akshshgflelkajhjaoqpieuxbmansjhd namsayin??? khwolendhdb whup yo ass"

I guess only people with speech impediments can understand each other.

Whatever man, we'll have to agree to disagree on the career of the Roach. I remember that guy getting his ass kicked. The guy was known for taking a beating. That was literally his biggest attribute, and why he has Parkinson's today. (cement head who took too many punches) Yea, he was a quality boxer in regard to he was a professional and he obviously knows boxing, but "among professionals" he was a punching bag during his actual career. Maybe I'm being harsh as these are old memories and it probably highlights the beatings I saw him take, so perhaps I'll have to "dig through the tape" and watch some of his old fights again.

In regard to Mayweather Senior vs Roach in their careers, rather moot in my opinion. But I will say this: I don't think Roach would have gone as long in the ring as Floyd Sr. did with SRL. Roger is without a doubt more accomplished, but I still feel 'both' brothers were better boxers than Roach overall.

    Roach got Mayweather mad.

Freddie should remind jnr how his dad used him as a human shield when he was a baby.

When Snr did pads with Hatton for the Pacquioa fight he held them in and orthodox stance.

Therefore I dont think he has any view on pad work that Roach does.

Freddie is a classless bigot and it's documented as well... stop giving this guy a pass because he has an ailment.

When it comes to Roger ummmm he's a former champion! Enough said.... and Sr wasn't a punching bag like Roach as a pro boxer & he is responsible for teaching and training one of the greatest boxers in history.. like it or not.

Besides his son, Mayweather Sr is most famous for getting battered to a pulp on live national television by a young, green version of Ray Leonard. He's not really in any position to be referring to other people as being punching bags.

Roach has many credentials as a trainer.Old Floyd does not.

Neither one was a great fighter.

Roach looks like god damn Einstien compared to the Mayweathers

    lol...

The Mayweathers are having a hard time accepting that Roach has been getting so much attention for bieng a good/great trainer...

It's butthurt plain and simple. How can anyone not see that?

Floyd Mayweather would do better as a trainer if he retired now...he doesn't even need Floyd sr or Roger to train him.

Roach took some L's and punishment in the process, however he had 40+ wins and 10 or 12 losses. That's not a great record but as a professional fighter in this kind of sport it's respectable.

The Mayweathers are talented natural athletes so their faster and have better reflexes but Roger and Floyd were on another level....they were talented, athletic and highly skilled. Sr never lived up to his potential, Freddie exceeded his. So Freddie being an overachiever and Sr an underachiever makes me see their careers as boxers the way that I do. If Roach vs Sr took place I think it would have been a competitive fight at the right weight.
