Canelo wants Pacquiao at 154

I thought Roach has said he hates catchweights? Regardless, Manny clowns Canelo for 12 rounds. They might even stop to save Canelo's overrated career to this point.

 

Should be at 144 like with Algieri.

 

Malinaggi is always runnin his mouth. We'll see what he says when Pac gives him the worst beating of his life.

They need to put Tarver back in his place.

Tarver is secure in who he is, unlike Malinaggi.

Since the Mayweather fight is happening and it doesn't really matter who beats who at this point because the two are finally fighting, I'll be honest about the outcome of this fight.

As a Pacquaio fan, I don't like this fight for Pacquaio.

I think Canelo is too big, too strong, and Pacquaio's southpaw style will actually be a liability.

Pacquaio is 36 years old and while he could win this fight, it would be very difficult and he would have to seriously avoid being hit with Canelo's big shots.

Not many fighters could do to Canelo what Mayweather did, at least not many smaller guys.

While Canelo was a favorable stylistic match up for Mayweather, it was still a dangerous fight, and I have to give Mayweather credit. It wasn't as easy as Mayweather made it look. Those shots Canelo landed were heavy and they hurt.

 

Floyd wants Canelo at 147 initially and/or a rehydration clause.

I wouldn't mind this after pac beats floyd. But only after pac beats floyd handily that floyd would not think of a rematch. Anywhere from 152-154 would be fine but I understand that pac's camp already stated that they would not fight above 150 again after the margo fight.

Personally, I hope pac retires win or lose after the floyd fight or at least have a final exhibition fight against malignaggi at his home country.
