Brook rules out Khan fight this year

Does Brook really think a win over Jo Jo Dan puts him on the radar with a fight against Mayweather or Pacquiao!

No, he thinks having the IBF World title puts him in line for a shot against the winner of Mayweather/Pacquiao, being that it would be for all the belts. Not that ridiculous a thought.

 

He's a world champion, which none of the doubters ever thought would happen.

Also if he beats a big name in the summer like marquez, maidana, rios after jojo dan then he fully deserves a unification bout with mayweather or pac in september (if may wins) or november (if manny wins

All we know is Khan will be facing another featherfisted or past it name next in another non title fight. And Brook will be making another defence of his world title :smooch

 

Well I just heard Eddie Hearn talking on Talksport, from what I gathered from the interview it looks very much like Khan will fight Chris Algieri for less than a quarter of what he was offered to fight Brook and obviously no title on the line either.

So a feather fisted LWW it is then for Mr Khan LOL

I'm sorry but even Khan's most hardcore fans must be embarrassed that Khan is looking towards Agieri instead of fighting Brook in a huge domestic showdown with a world title on the line.

I actually think Khan would be most people's favourite for the fight and if pushed I'd have Khan maybe nicking a decision but obviously Khan isn't as confident in himself.

As said above, if Pac Vs May is a one sided fight and there is no real need for a rematch then surely the winner of that will seriously consider a fight with Brook to be crowned undisputed WW champion.

so for all those reasons I think you have to believe Khan really does not fancy a fight with Brook.

 

Brook v Dan is being shown on ShowTime - the 2nd time now Brook will be headlining on there broadcast.

If Mayweather comes through Pac....

You see where I'm going with this.. they are beginning to put the pieces together for a Mayweather v Brook fight at some point down the line. Whether it happens this year or next, Brook's fight being shown in the states increasing his profile for Mayweather to then fight for the undisputed crown assuming he comes through Pac.

 

good to see kell move on past amir to be honest. khan has shown no desire to make the fight happen.

regarding khan vs algieri, I said this was gonna be amir's next fight weeks ago.

All this talk of bradley, broner, cotto was just a smokescreen. When it comes to matchmaking Khan is a joke!

I see it exactly the same way, Khan was used as a negation tool my Mayweather but was too stupid to realise it. Khan has frozen himself out by not taking a world title fight with Brook because he has nothing to offer to Pacquiao or Mayweather but we know what will happen, when the penny finally drops (and it takes a while with Khan) Khan will start screaming Kell's name and will get ignored because Brook will be in line for a huge unification fight with either of Pac or May and then Khan will be shouting to anybody who listens that Brook has bottled it.

I may be well off, just an opinion but I would have a bet it goes something like that if Brook stays unbeaten. It make perfect sense especially for Mayweather (for his last fight) to have a fight with Brook in a match between two unbeaten world champions for the undisputed WW crown, US Vs UK, it has all the ingredients.

 

It would be beautiful if kell got the floyd fight over Khan even though Khan claims floyd has promised he'd fight him
