If this happens it is a great little British level fight, should be well balanced and close, fancy Ryder to pip him on points e.g. 115-113, 116-112 region. Either way sort of fight that will improve both boxers as i cannot see anything other than a close fight, loser can come again if its close.

    Khomitsky. Forget the scorecards.
And...Nick was well on his way to stopping the man who stopped Buglioni and arguably beat Murray too....

Confusing the way you worded that, being as how Blackwell and Murray fought.

Granted I know you meant it as "almost stopped Khomitsky (who stopped Bulgioni and arguably beat Murray too)" but the less savvy could mistake that as you implying Nick both nearly stopped Khomitsky and and arguably himself beat Murray (like it was a bogus stoppage and he was getting the best of the action before then or something). Not so. That's his one clear loss.

    Punctuation, dear boy!
For it to be interpreted as me suggesting Nick beat Murray (which we know is not the case) I would have to have put a comma (,) after "Buglioni" in that sentence.

Without the comma, Im clearly referring to Khomitsky as being the man who (arguably) edged out Murray, not the aforementioned Nick.
(BTW FWIW I felt Murray just about edged it versus Khomitsky, barely).

(At least thats the way it was when I went to school anyway..:p )

PS Bloody awful decision, that draw...Nick beat Khomitsky IMO.

    :good

He deserved the nod against Bursak, as well.

BJS got past him clean but it was a close one, and probably Saunders' toughest assignment yet (and stands as his third hardest to date after Eubank Jr. and Ryder, but more difficult than O'Sullivan, Blandamura, Hall, Fletcher, Pryce...). It wasn't just the cut early on, either, Blackwell's style and heart alone really pushed BJS to his limits.

FOTY contender no doubts. Would have said Ryder would win but he's looked a bit off form in his last 2 fights, 50/50 fight.. Blackwell is much better than his record suggests, he's took a lot of fights at short notice.

Quality domestic 50/50 fight. Really like Ryder style of fighting and Blackwell is always gonna bring it so I expect a good fight!

Going with Ryder in this one. Tough fighter Blackwell but he is a level below Ryder in my opinion.

Opinion seems fairly evenly divided. I should have included a poll...
