A stupid man's report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand. - Bertrand Russell Scar, you aren't being smart here.
Point taken. However, Leoffler might have been able to use Laras willingness to negotiate with Haymon. Fight mighta been possible, btu the logistics would be chaos no doubt.:think
Why?, because I'm telling the truth?. Golovkin's biggest fight to date came recently against Macklin yet he has been hyped nonstop even two years before that fight happened. If you don't see that it's ridiculous when there are far more out there with far better resumes that deserve the attention then you're the one not being smart.
The only one spinning here is you. Twitter call out has the same weight as you calling out GGG. It's just dumb. Chavez called out GGG on twitter after refusing to fight in the first place. That's not serious. It's not how the serious intent is shown. Grow up, son.
i'm learning a lot about a certain kind of mentality just from reading this forum...how would it work? lemme show you: lara tweets he wants to fight ggg. k2 says "lara wants to fight us and we want to fight him...let's make a deal" haymon says "sure, no problem...lets fight on network tv" k2 is like "nah bruh...has to be HBO" Haymon hems and haws then finally says, "ok, but y'all know i don't love hbo...if you want it on that network it's gotta be 50-50...or we get some concessions, say catchweight"...k2 says "ok"...and they work out the points of contention and 3 months later the fight happens on HBO. simple as that. and just in case you're not a boxing fan and so you don't really know about lara, he actally BEAT canelo, trout, paul williams, ishe smith, angulo and vanes...in fact, he outclassed them all. murray and geale are a couple of schit hounds in comparison...and if murray could go 11 with ggg and give him problems, lara would take ggg to school.
Who? I'd take Lara, because he has a better resume compared to Monroe, but logistically the fight is impossible to organise easily without breaking HBO-Haymon ice, and for what? for fcuking LARA? HBO made a concession in the past to ALLOW Golovkin to fight Quillin on HBO, nothwithstanding Haymon war, because he was a champ. It's factual, it's documented. What does Lara bring to HBO to allow GGG fight a Haymon guy? And the guy ISN'T campaigning at 160, not willing to go to 160. Far more, you said. WHO was available for May date for GGG among those far more credible opponents? Please be factual. It's tiresome to argue with people having black and white positions, you are not a kid.
trip G WILL fight anyone from 54 to 68 for a ppv fight ONLY, his team has made this crystal clear many times now. lara ? really ?
You just described what GGG team did when they negotiated with Quillin. It was just EXACTLY as you described. The most important difference between Quillin and Lara is KC was a champ at 160, and it justified all the hustle from GGG side. I mean, you should even give credit now to GGG side because they did what you just said but for Quillin. And Lara is a 154 WBA regular champ, equivalent to... Jacobs at 160, because the true champ is Mayweather. Hmm... why all the hustle for the fcuking Lara? No unification, not better than frigging Jacobs who is at least second in WBA rankings. People, you seriously don't know what represents VALUE in boxing, or know it and prefer to neglect it because you hate!
No, it's worse. It's like saying that Kovalev is ducking Andre Dirrell. Couple solid wins, but lost his toughest fight, and runs like crazy against the easiest of opponents.
My point here isn't a shadowy apparition of a great Middleweight that Golovkin is running scared of like the majority of the simpletons on the site seem to bark/cry about when they criticize a fighter. My point is purely based on the hype he has been getting for 3 years straight despite his record being primitive and his biggest win coming only recently. I don't even consider Lara a threat of any sort, the man is a one two artist and nothing else. Oh and trust me, I know that an aggressive fighter will always attract many fans easily. But the attraction here is obviously alarming and somehow annoying(with all the idiots and their nonstop threads/praises) when the man's record is literally below average.
So you give Lara credit for beating Vanes, even though MOST had Lara down 6-3 before the cut. Outclass Angulo....who was well up before he was stopped. Canelo outlanded Lara 3-1 in power shots and was simply outjabbed. PWill did everything better than Lara. Ishe Smith> Mundine. Im a huge fan of Lara, but he missed out on the May/Pac sweepstakes and his BEST win is Trout. :rofl
Try saying Lara made the chellenge, and GGGs dad died and GGG went inactive for a spell.:rofl:rofl:rofl
Just like Stevenson calling out the best @175 then ducking them all Quillian same, both Haymon fighters :yep :deal
