Good comment. The same thing happens with Pac and everyone else. A fighter should peak at the time of the fight, not 5-6 weeks out. An experienced fighter is NOT looking to just beat up his sparring partners. What's the gain in that? If they have been picked carefully, they are preparing or conditioning him for what he will face.
It's not gonna look good if Pacquiao gets tooled by a guy who got tooled by a Mexican journeyman. It seems Roach just has a bad habit of ****ting all over Pacquiao's opponents in the lead-ups to his fights. Just off the top of my head, Oscar was shot to **** and couldn't pull the trigger anymore, Marquez was getting KO'd in two rounds because he was too old and too small, their sparring partners were better than Algieri and now Mayweather's legs are gone and he's getting his ass handed to him in sparring. This guy makes it sound as if they match Pacquiao up with nothing but bums.
Jeez man Freddie makes all 3 Mayweathers look like fools as far as training goes. Freddie is just rattling a few cages & you fools take the bait. Freddie Roach Trainer of the Year AGAIN!!!!!!!!:happy:happy:happy
Again, instead of rattling cages, he needs to work on the many problems he's running in camp as he already slowly started to admit as soon as the fight was signed. If you asked him a month ago about this fight he would say "Mayweather is scared".
Yet you believe floyds knocking out all his sparring partners. Were you in the sparring sessions? No you werent so you know as much as the rest of us. I hope floyd is getting roughed up in training because thats the way it should be. If im a floyd fan i dont want to hear all that nonsense about him destroying his sparring partners.
