Brook has one better fighter on his record than Algieri, people are so zoned in on the fact that Khan is ducking Brook that they let it cloud their judgement. Algieri is a good fight, if it's on PBC then it'll make sense as Khan will look good against a fighter with the "went the distance with Pacquiao spin on it" - Hearn would make Algieri / Brook in a heartbeat and you're an idiot if you think otherwise.

Hearn / Brook are desperate for Khan, but Khan isn't desperate for Brook. You very rarely get what you want when you're desperate. If Khan doesn't fight Brook, he has a lot of options anyway and is backed by Haymon - his next purse will be $1m regardless of who he's against. If Brook doesn't fight Khan it'll just be another bad fight at an (almost sold out) Motorpoint, for about £100k. Brook doesn't have any options if it's not Khan because let's be honest he isn't in the Mayweather running. He'd maybe get the Pacquiao fight in Macao, but that's it.

Khan / Brook is still huge AFTER Khan has lost to say a Thurman, Pacquiao or Mayweather but if he lost to Brook, those fights are gone. Why jump in with Brook now when he can make some money first and then worst comes to the worst that fight and the huge payday is still there.

This from the guy that seems to think his wins over Collazo and Alexander made him #1 contender for Mayweather.

    Khan is a joker

Algieri was unbeaten and coming off a big win vs Pacquiao he's coming off an embarrassing loss now. If he wins two or three decent fights then maybe.

I cant give Khan any props if he fights Algeri, or even Broner. If it isn't Thurman, Cotto, Bradley, Maidana or BROOK, i cannot give him any respect. He seems to have literally lost his warrior mentality as of late, he isn't the same Khan who would take risks and be open to fight anybody like the Khan of 2010-12. This Khan is too business minded, looking for the safest, risk free way to fight May or Pac, yet is too blind to recognise that the Brook fight would not only GET him that shot, but also give him a chance to be UNDISPUTED welterweight champion. Its time to take a risk and stop thinking business. This is the point where legacy comes into it, lets see if he steps up to the plate like the old khan would.
