Brook was thinking he was big time when full of drink, some gangster put him in his place, Brook seems to think it's best to just let the whole thing lie. That's the impression I get but we'll never know.
It actually seems to not be a mystery.. :think "It is understood that Brook and his alleged assailant, whose identity is known to Sportsmail, walked a short distance to a nearby property."
I always had a feeling that Brook could be an absolute ******* once he's had his buttons pushed; a bit like Joshua to be honest. He doesn't come across as an *******, but you can imagine he would just annoy someone or **** someone off because he felt like it by saying something or doing something stupid.
Brook goes to a complete stranger's house whilst his wife is in bed. Seems normal hey? The only time you do this is to score some dope, or do dope. 'I've got some quality blow, want to come back and do some lines'?
http://i.imgur.com/bAQNAiw.png Hardly a coincidence that it happened just a couple of weeks after Brook had beaten one of his fighters just like I don't think it's one that Oscar got caught snorting Peruvian dancing dust again a mere few days after Golden Boy filing that lawsuit. :yep
Interesting, a comment on the article makes this claim: "johnnyindubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 6 months ago Unfortunately Tenerife is full of idiots. The history of the island is littered with British timeshare criminals. .. nasty people. If u do not know this.. as has been seen, u can get into a lot of trouble" ...but this review is from an independent site that rates locales for holiday, (not the Canary Islands tourism board or anything): "Is Tenerife safe? Yes, Tenerife has a very low crime rate and is a very safe place to visit and to live in. There aren't any 'no-go' areas and streets are safe to wander in at night as well as during the day. You should nevertheless exercise common sense, particularly in the main tourist resorts, by not leaving valuables unattended on the beach or in your hire car. ... Are there timeshare touts? ...speaking of pests, all the big resorts on Tenerife have a few touts who will try to get you to a timeshare sales venue via scratch cards. A polite refusal is all you need to keep them at bay. The same goes for the street vendors with their 'designer' sunglasses and watches." ...which kind of both confirms and denies what Johnny in Dubai says. Yes there are scam artists, but to imply there is a danger of violent crime such as Brook experienced would seem to be false, if whatever crime rate metrics their site uses bear out and come from official verifiable sources.
Either Brook was ****ing the man or doing some dope with him. I was reading his account, and I was thinking, "What the ****?" Seriously, the story is just too bizarre, and you can't help feeling that he was leaving out a ton of details. I mean a ton. I'm glad a lot of people thought it weird that Brook just goes over to some strange man's house. I was thinking it wasn't weird in Europe for a second there.
Put on your tin foil hats folks Sounds totally normal to me that Brook would part ways with his friends then go back to someones flat with his girlfriend at 3am to talk about MMA & boxing then get macheted in the leg in an unprovoked attack. :hey He was fcking around with the wrong people that's for sure doing something dodgy. A scam or robbery doesn't turn into this kind of situation.
Brook likes coke, likes the company of men and can be a nightmare when he's drunk and coked up. I thought this was no great secret. This wasn't even the first time he's been stabbed.
Brook stayed out partying with an english criminal chating **** togther about fighting boxing usual stuff went back to the mans flat for more toot. Kell got a bit ****y but the other guy got more and more paranoid and wanting to act big went a bit nuts with a scuffle and Kell got Stabbed in the leg. Deffo no bummings haha.
