This is why i dont like these BS mandatory orders. Golovkin will be having his 3rd fight with the WBC interim belt at stake. For 3 fights he has had to pay sanctioning fees to get an unification shot.

This is nothing like Darius' s situation. STEVENSON beat the man in the division in Dawson. KOVALEV was never stripped for refusing mandos like Darius

 

The WBC belt is green because it is made of recycled garbage from China. Tyson Fury has fought like 5 WBC eliminators but Wilder got the title shot.

This is simply not true. Dariusz wasn't stripped for refusing mandos. He was stripped because the alphabet organizations all wanted Jones to hold their titles...

Good. Often times the organisations' decisions aren't in line with what we want. We all know the way they operate is awful at times, but we should take the victories when they come.

If Stevenson ducks it again, he should be stripped of the title and stripped of his lineal "title" too.

 

K2 is being taken for a ride by WBC.

You're right, why would they pay 50,000$+ in Rubio, Murray and Monroe Jr fights for a belt that's interim. They are paying sanctioning fees for a belt that means nothing

 

On a wider point, this sort of strategy should be adopted more stringently by the sanctioning bodies - and not when it suits them financially.

When there are clearly two fighters in a division who stand above the rest, the bodies should be doing all in their power to make that fight.

If and when someone separates themselves from the bunch on the WBC Heavyweight side - they should be forced to fight Wlad.

There aren't a lot of divisions where this occurs, which is why the organisations should be doing all in their power to make these fights when they present themselves.

Dude, there have been lots of articles written about the Dariusz/Jones situation. Dariusz being stripped of his titles was totally political in nature. Jones' "reign" @ 175 is the most fraudulent is recent history...
