Rios would be more for exposure in the US really, unlike Khan there's actually a legit argument for kell in this

Btw, I wasn't having a pop at you when I was swearing. :good

It's just that I must be the only one that see's Hearn for what he is - an artist of cons!

People sl*g fish-eyes off, but Hearn is no better. He is absolutely FLEECING the fans.

It's the same old story with any of his belt holders. Look at Quigg...

Kell could at least face Chaves or someone who is top 10. But no, it's just another in-house Matchroom fight where the champ could lose the belt to a fellow Matchroom fighter on free tv, have a ppv rematch, win it and then face another bum and repeat the pattern.

I think they are as bad as each other but Frank is more defensive which makes him less likeable in my opinion. He is far better in writing with his column a decent read nowadays.

It's a real shame that Hennessey or Cyclone don't have a bit more stroke in this country, Mick has a decent platform but barely uses it and Barry is just starting out on ITV.

I do feel that the new Matchroom/Sky contract has a mininum PPV stipulation hence the Bellew/Cleverly debacle last year. He seems to have to put on two PPVs a year now, regardless of quality.

But Hearn has more gaul. That's what makes it worse! Just the way that he cons the public is very bad.

Bellew/Clev on PAY-PER-VIEW?! Come on, that's the worst move I've seen in boxing in this country in many years.

Knock Wazza all you want, but when he done things properly they were done properly.

Chisora was in with VITAL in his THIRTEENTH FIGHT! Look at who AJ is facing... And Chisora had NOWHERE NEAR the amateur pedigree that AJ had.

Groves/Degale fighting each other in roughly the same amount of fights.

Lacey got brought over. As did Kessler.

    Let's look at Eddie...

    Smith? Travelled twice.
Quigg? Fighting nobodies (I swear, he NEEDS a new promoter)
Brook? Fighting Bundu/Gavin or Rios next.
    AJ? Fighting bin men.

And his fights are exhibition bouts at best. He has ZERO CLUE how to matchmake.

If he HAS to put on a ppv, stack it with genuine world class 50-50 fights. Bellew/Clev material is just pure fodder.

Have you not forgetten cards like the magnificent seven being on PPV??? Or the groves degale fight being PPV and that near enough killed it with the embarrassingly low buys???

No, kell needs more us exposure which a rios fight would provide,n Khan needs a proper test which he is dodging, since garcia hasnt faced anyone with a knockout ratio >50%

it's a trait of boxing world wide

It's all about maximum dollars with minimum risk

Look at floyd and pac. Floyd has made what another 50 million plus than if he took the pac fight 5 years ago

    At least Groves/Degale was a huge spectacle - Bellew/Clev was a joke.

You didn't pay for it did you? :p:good

No, it was two men who got blown away at LHW and who wouldn't face the top dogs at CW so faced each other instead.

It's all well and good saying you want Eddie to step things up, fact is he is building certain fighters in a proper sensible manner. Matchroom know what they are doing. And the beauty of it is, they have the full backing of Sky Sports to do it properly, take the right steps. Other promoters dont have that at their disposal, and then their fighters are rushed, and theres no longevity. Eddie builds careers, not quick buck fights.
