    Really?

I can't think of any top 10 heavyweights who got KO'ed by the likes of Purrity, Sanders and Brewster while leading up to or in the middle of the primes of their careers. ...and getting dropped three times by Sam Peter all while having the appearance of a deer in headlights isn't a good look either...

I personally think that Carl Froch is twice the fighter that either Klitschko is. Froch has demonstrated on multiple occasions that he can come back from adversity and WIN. Klitschkos, OTOH, when confronted with adversity either QUIT [Byrd] or get KNOCKED OUT [Purrity, Sanders, Brewster].

I don't hate on European fighters, I hate on HYPE JOBS...

It says a lot when Wald haters have to bring up a pts win a freaking decade ago where Wlad was dropped in a sad attempt to discredit him haha

The man could be 50 and still dominating and they will say...He lost to that bum Brewster a quarter-century ago :yep

If David Haye had only been able to tag that chin, maybe the Klitschko era would now have come to an embarassing and laughable end. But poor David broke his toe, and the evil Team Klitschko had him fight his way to the ring through the crowd where it got stomped on more :-( So now Wlad holds ALL the belts, is about to break Holmes record, and man, is Wlad making dough.

If you are a HW these days, it's a good thing to be a Klitschko and it's flat and simple a bad thing to be anything else. And it has been like that for over a decade.

Fair enough about his bad losses but one also has to bring up the decade-long title reign too where's he been virtually untouchable, running through contenders with no problem. Louis and Holmes were dropped and struggled in several of their defenses. Wlad has not been seriously challenged yet. Regardless of what you think of his competition...it's quite rare and a solid argument as to why he belongs around #10 at HW.

I'm a loyal nuthugger so I tend to put a lot more weight towards the latter :p

I try to be objective though...but it's getting increasingly hard to justify him outside #10-15 at HW.

At the time Wlad-Peter 1 happened, Scam was undefeated, in shape and favored against Waldo. He was no world beater but I give Peter a ton of credit though for that effort...Wlad hit him with his best shots and he walked through all of them and kept clubbing hard shots at him until that short left hook in the last round scrambled his brain. Peter 1 is a very good win and probably his most important since he may have retired if he lost that...which would have spared his haters a decade of misery :happy

Wlad shamlessly RAN from Peter ALL night in a performance that would make the de la Hoya from the last three rounds of the Trinidad fight blush.

    Lol...

Are you going to provide proof of this blatant lie or just going to hope nobody notices?

Wlad had a rematch clause on Sanders. He didn't exercise it.
His management claimed outright he needed a few comeback fights.
Don't make me pull the links and make you look like a fool one again, so i suggest you wither back into your hole

Are you stupid ? They strip Sanders from title, cause he refuse to rematch, instead going against older brother. After that he retired moron.
In 2007-2008 Wlad was thinking to face Sanders, but he was injure and then lose his next match and retire permanently.

    And for Purrity:

Anyway its fun you have to use, 12 years ago match to disrespect Wlad .....

So Wlad actually bothered to try rematching Purrity? I'd missed out on that one. Well, not much Wlad could do if Purrity didn't fancy the idea.

Wlad also nearly took Peter's head off with a short left hook in the last round. I don't remember De La Hoya landing anything like that on Trinidad when he was 'running'.

He didn't just run and hold...he landed a few punches too lol.

Sander gave up the title cos he didn't want to defend the title against Brewster and Universum made him fight Vitali.

Wlad was never interested. He ducked the rematch.

Real greats take the immediate rematch and over turn the result.

Wlad wanted no part of an inactive and past prime gate keeper from the previous era knowing he would be too good for him . Again

    ATG ? lol:nut
