i thought Stevenson looked slow and sluggish. he dominated the smaller Bika, but it wasn't impressive. saying that Kovalev isn't ready is a joke surely?? it's Adonis who doesn't look ready. when Adonis is no longer allowed to run from Kov, he's getting knocked out in double quick time. one good shot on that chin will do the trick. 2-3 round job at the most for Sergey.
have you looked at the history of boxing? have you looked around at the state of boxing today? if all my predictions were based only on picking the black guy, i'd still be right 80-90% of the time. that's not racist....it's a historical FACT. look, i date women of all races...but when it comes to boxing, it would be stupid to ignore the inherent abilities of fighters. for example, i have been correct in my predictions of EVERY SINGLE PBC fight for the year so far...yes, that includes the beterbiev-campillo ... because having seen campillo in action a few times, i knew it was nothing more than a set up for beterbiev. i wasn't even surprised at campillo's performance...more like disgusted. but i digress.... since we're on it, lemme go down my list of predictions for the next few weeks. i'm picking: - peterson over garcia. - quillen over lee - jennings over wlad - floyd over pac notional future fights: - wilder ktfo's wlad. - bika beats beterbiev - stevenson over kovalev - GRJ beats loma in a rematch. - jacobs, lara, or ndam over ggg. - cotto vs ggg is a tossup. these picks aren't racist....they are based simply on understanding the inherent difference in capabilties between fighters. but in a few weeks we will revisit this thread....if my predictions are correct, you need to apologize to me on this forum, then admit i'm right to choose fighters based on whatever criteria i use, then beg my forgiveness for acting like a b8tch.
what fight were you watching? bika and adonis were the same exact size...adonis just had a much longer reach. it's not like kovlev-hopkins where kovalev outweighed him by about 15 lbs and had 20 years on him and still couldn't hurt him or put him away.

If Stevenson can time that left, especially on a counter he can take out Kovalev who does not have a granit chin. However, i think Kovalev is faster at finding his range and better at throwing combinations. I see him koying stevenson first. Great matchup. A must see
