if you REALLY examine pac's career over the past few years, it's hard to make him anything more than a sentimental favorite against fmj. pac was in his prime ko'ing hatton, dlh and cotto and beating margarito....tose fights were a long time ago, but that's how people remember him. he's an incredibly popular athlete....especially since he's seen as the anti-floyd. but what has he done lately? - lost to marquez twice....yes, he clearly didn't deserve the decision in the third fight...or the second for that matter. - lost to tim bradley. it was a close fight that could have gone either way. the rematch was more a case of bradley losing than pac winning... -pac has been carefully matched since them...rios? algieri? i actually gave algieri a chance, but unfortunately the officiating was so terrible that night, he really never got the opportunity to show his stuff. so, losing to other top fighters, careful matchmaking, showing signs of losing steam. he doesn't even deserve this fight really...he hasn't earned it. still many people are convinced that not only that he's got to goods, but that he'll beat floyd. in reality, floyd should be a 10-1 favorite. ..it goes to show how popularity and charisma can really hypnotize people and take away all their objectivity.
this. what a thread. he lost to JMM every time he fought him, but yet the bradley fight was close and could have gone either way.:rofl:rofl
The officiating was the problem??? Holy ****.atschatschatsch:rofl: :rofl And Maidana deserved him twice? If pac doesn't "deserve" this fight nobody May has ever fought deserved to fight him....
His career after the first marquez fight was a result of careful matchmaking with the exception of his 3 other marquez fights
pac deserves the fight because his name, 100% agree. people remember how they want to remember him, that's how most peole are not many really see him having a legit chance, what we have is the die hard pac cult and the Floyd haters who are trolling like crazy because they are very near the end of their road. they had been trashing Floyd so long while at the same time pumping pac like insane people. they never thought pac would agree for less than 50% nor did they think Floyd would ever offer 40% with ppv upside. they don't know what to do now, they hate that this fight was made and are making absolute fools of themselves. if they really believed pac has a legit chance they would stfu until fight week, then try trolling. I give pac a chance but that is really only because he has looked much fresher than Floyd over the past couple years. If this was the Floyd of the ghost or canelo pac wouldn't belong in the ring with that Floyd but he aged dramatically over the last 1.5 years. he looks slow, his timing has been that split second too slow (for Floyd) and his reflexes have been really a full step slow from what we are used to. I know they are both training like crazy but once you start declining it happens over night.. it's very possible we have a shot Floyd entering the ring. 2 rounds will tell us if its Floyd or the ghost of Floyd. Floyd always finds a way to win, pac hasn't been that type of dominate force where winning is everything, Floyd cant accept defeat like pac had in the past. going to be a great night 5.2 no matter what way it goes. it'll almost be better if Floyd is more shot so we can truly see if he is tbe. a shot fmj beating pac would be icing on the cake
yup, pac might be in trouble, all depends on floyds condition. is his body like a 40 yr old or a 30 yr old ??? we will soon find out, this fight is all about Floyd, its like pac is just there for Floyd and not there for himself
