Been mentioned on Twitter this morning AJ having an extra outing. It cannot be much of a test with Johnson only 3 weeks later

AJ is now rent a replacement. Surprised he is not at Leeds on Saturday

I doubt they'd risk him getting a cut/injury and pulling out of the May 30 card (which is PPV I think)

Plus Kevin Johnson has never been KO'd and is likely to take AJ deep into the later rounds...theyll wanna prepare for that

Really risky taking a fight so soon to a main PPV event.

If they think an AJ 2 round KO job replaces the advertised fringe world level decently matched main event then it shows what Matchroom think of their punters................unless its pay per view of course

squeezing another opponent in. Replacing Gavin. Not expecting anything other than a walkover

Hopefully Eggington-Foot is added to this. Hearn says he is trying to get it made

What is the point? AJ will have saw more cans than an Alcoholic if he keeps having these 'outings'.

    This.

People are talking about how he hasn't been knocked out. Well, it's not like he is offering his chin on a platter is it?

He is the most negative fighter in Boxing atm. What's his punch-output per round? 5 punches maybe?

    Exactly.
He's a useful sparring partner, at best.
He hasn't been knocked out because he doesn't try to win.
I don't care to see him waltz through 10 rounds with Joshua, a meaningless waste of 39 minutes of our lives.
If Joshua knocks him out it will mean something, but not an awful lot either.

People are saying Tony Thompson's being lined up after Kevin Johnson, now he's a proper opponent - if it happens soon.

    Agreed!

There'd be no need to spar him due to the chances of fighting someone that negative being so f*cking low!

Thompson would be a great test for AJ.
