Easy money for brook and stoppage middle rounds,
no disrespect to Frankie but he will never win a real world title he is to defensive and always on bak foot and don't think he has the power to hurt world champs

    Agreed.

I reckon Khan/Brook will both meet after these fights.

Brook is an accurate puncher maybe not as big a KO artist that's he's made out to be but I cant see Frankie keeping him at bay and eventually the heaver shots from Brook should earn him a stoppage.

Terrible fight really. First time Gavin stepped up to fight a non domestic level fighter and he got beat.

Brook moans at Khan for his opposition and while I don't want to turn this into yet another bashing thread but even someone like Rios would have been better at least he has a name in the US and is coming off a decent win over Alvardo

No disrespect to Frankie, but he's way out of his depth here.

I was very critical of Brook a couple of years ago, but he is certainly a capable fighter, who made Porter look clumsy and brainless.

I'd think Kell would start to squeeze Frankie by the middle rounds, and end the fight soon after.

Brook isn't a devastating puncher, but he has plenty of pop, and his counters are very well timed and very well placed.

Odds are now up for one bookmaker.

    Kell Brook 2/9
    Frankie Gavin 3/1
    Draw 20/1

Closer odds than what I expected to be honest. Maybe Frankie Gavin would be difficult to pin down in the first half of the fight, especially if he keeps counter punching and fights on the move. You could have got 9/1 for No No Dan in Brook's last fight.

    2/11 and 5/1 now.

Frankie didn't come across too confident in the last IFLTV interview. Just seemed glad to be given the opportunity. Pleased for him though. Would love to see him make a fight of it.

Maybe a 'nobody' is not the right word to describe Gavin, but he is a poor opponent for Brook. It is hard to see this as a competitive fight. So many competitive fights at WW and we end up with this. Je$us wept.
