Would he be cautious like last time out, or would he fight a more aggressive fight?

I was talking to someone last night who knows a bit about boxing and he suggested that Wlad would be a lot more aggressive against Haye right from the start.

    What do you think?

Wlad just backs the smaller man up with his power-left jab and
then finishes the job with his big overhand right by mid-round
stoppage. Peter presents a tougher challenge by far than Haye.
Peter has some chance although slim of bulldozing big Wlad and
landing the big fight-ending punch but Sam I've got two words
for you and listen carefully----JENNY CRAIG!!!

He'll have to be aggressive and mix it up as Haye will be too fast and aggressive for Wlad to be able to do the old slow slap jab thing all round. It'll become an action fight with Wlad getting chin-checked and dropped. He'll revert back to the panic attack deer-in-the-headlights thing and he'll get stopped.

he'll do the same thing he does for every fight...jab, jab, hold, jab, hold, paw, paw, jab...fast forward 5 rounds...right hand, jab, jab, paw, hold

I know what Hays strategy will be, Haye will go in there in the early rounds and try to time Wlads jab with his overhand right. Wlad usually takes 3 rounds to develope his range and confort to launch his straight right. This 3 round duration is what Haye and his team will focuse on becasue after that, Haye doesnt have many options. I think Wlad has to change up a few things in this fight, he has to keep circling early on and throw a lot of lead left hooks so to not telegraph his jab, if he can do this he will frustrate Haye causing him to open up and get wild with his shots like he did in his only loss against Thompson, this will create some good openings for the straigh right and lead to a KO victory for Wlad.

Stay on the outside for a while, load up on the jab, hook off of it. Haye is open for it. When Haye tries to do his wild swinging, tie him up, wear him out, then push off and resume jabs and hooks. Wlad would be a heavy favorite. Haye has to make the fight, he is not tight and has a questionable chin; thus he would be timed coming in.

I seriously believe Wlad could knock Haye out with a jab. It would be a short fight.

I'm not convinced Haye ever intends to get in a ring with Klit. Its a good way to hype your name and appear brave but he fronted Klit in a public place, its not like he didnt know Klit wouldnt hit him outside the ring.

yes...I believe one of the main reasons his so eager to fight Wlad is because of the great success he had against Enzo utilizing the crouch style. Ive seen that style before and its very effective against tall fighters who fight in a straigh posture behind the jab (euro style). Its kind of a less complex version of what Mayweather does against tall fighters, you have to have a lot of athletic ability to pull it off and Haye has that ability.

Ya thats the thing with Haye, his mentality doesnt allow him to maintain a disciplined style over the course of a fight. His the type of fighter who feeds off the moment and explodes, he cant maintain a borring style for say 7 rounds in order to setup a victory in the 8th round, his the type of fighter where any chance he gets in getting a KO he will got for , doesnt matter what round. Thats why his margin of sucess varies against different opponents.
