Not as a standalone fight. Being added to card with 2 other world title fights, then yes.

If it's what keeps British boxing on it's current roll then a resounding yes!

I thought you was clueless in the training forum, but my oh my are you taking the biscuit in here!

    So let's recap...

A fight that had tipped the balance to the show being PPV is decide by a 'champion' who beat a p*ss poor mandatory, and a fighter who just beat an opponent ranked 446th IN THE WORLD and prior to that arguably lost against BRADLEY SKEETE.

That has turned a non-ppv card into a ppv card, correct?

It's a champion who beat Porter who was a good champion. And if Skeete arguably beat Gavin then Gavin arguably beat European champ Bundu.

Most certainly not! Gavin was outclassed by Bundu who went on to fight Thurman and never won a round against the American. That's how far off he is from elite level. Charging a PPV fee for this card is fraudulent IMO.

i stuck a yes on the basis that as a whole card, it ****s on both the froch - groves cards and the bellew - clev one.. lacks a big headline fight to grab the attention, but for a whole nights worth of boxing all the way down its good... obviously in a ideal world it wouldn't be, but that's life.

You know the answer to this yourself. As part of the card it is on, yes of course it is, so don't take it out of context just to suit you.

I saw this coming and posted a comment on one of IFL's youtube videos.

Eddie needs to give Sky a PPV. He tried to get Khan to dance to his tune, and couldn't. Tried to land Frampton, and couldn't. This was his backup plan. Personally, its not a PPV event imo. Good card, but not worth the additional £17 on top of your subscription.

Sadly, the power of the sky hype machine (last rolled out in full effect for Bellew/Clev 2) will be on display again, and people will buy it in their droves.

Plus it's the same month as Mayweather/Pacquiao (a genuine PPV fight) so if you want to watch both then that's an extra 35/40 quid on top of your normal Sky subscription for the month. A p*ss take really.

    Never been a PPV
Brook vs Gavin is a decent domestic s****, obviously not the Khan- Brook we were hoping for but thays not Hearn or Brooks fault, as for people mentioning Joshuas fight vs Johnson that for me is a joke, Johnson has lost 5 of his last 8, he's been finished for a good 3/4 years, And yet again another much smaller guy for AJ to use as a punch bag.

Triangle theory doesn't apply to combat sports. Try again.
