Would you like to see Canelo vs Golovkin ?

Would watch it, I'm sure canelo would take the fight. Only thing is his people aren't going to let canelo get anywhere near GGG.

 

Would love to see the fight and with Canelo struggling to make 154 seems an inevitability. Think Golovkin by ko but Canelo can be hard to hit when he wants to be (Trout fight comes to mind) though it does take away from his offense

 

Canelo on the back foot all night, he should be able to be competitive as he thrives against come forward fighters... first big GGG left hook or straight right that lands will be very telling.

Does Canelo have a following in Cali?

I would LOVE to see this fight! This would make great numbers I think. This would be "Mexican Style: For Realz this Time"

 

I have a tremendous amount of respect for Canelo's cajones, especially since he took the Lara fight. I don't doubt that Canelo would be willing to fight GGG if it was just up to him but I can't see his handlers letting him step in the ring with GGG. If it ever happened I'd give GGG a big edge.

Problem is that Judges cant save Canelo in this one because he will be knocked out.

Yes, I know, Canelo has not actually weighed in at MW so far.

But he struggles with 154 and his fighting weight is heavier than most MWs.

Great fight I think Canelo takes it by SD in a tactical action packed fight. Even though GGG has power his style is more suited for Canelo, who has shown to be a high caliber fighter, against better opposition. More than likely if they fight it won't be til late 15" early 16", Canelo takes the title from Cotto by competitive stoppage, then beat's Golovkin in a grueling split/majority decision.
