I'd have it KO for GGG or quite wide if Canelo makes it through.

But I have massive respect for Canelo. He seems like he wants to get in the ring with the best whenever he can

While I can definitely see a KO for GGG, I can see Canelo maybe pulling off a narrow decision with his skill set. He's not the fastest bloke but I can see his excellent combination punching doing some damage to GGG if he manages to get through.

I like Canelo but don't rate his skills against the likes of GGG. Everyone's allowed to see things their own way though!

canelo is not ready, he needs a full year at the least fighting at MW before he stands a chance against ggg, by that time ggg would be 36 and could be at 168.

:good I agree. Hopefully this fight gets made sometime down the line if Canelo does decide to move up.

I think it's inevitable Canelo moves up, I just hope GGG isn't at 168 by the time it happens.

I got Golovkin by KO, body shot. But Canelo does better offensively than all of Golovkin's previous opponents. Golovkin's chin would be tested more than what it has. It'd be Golovkin's best opponent so far, IMO.

People overlook the fact that Golovkin himself said a 19 yr old Canelo was the toughest he's ever been in the ring with, the guy has gotten better. Mayweather is the best fighter of this era so a loss there isn't too bad, and close wins vs guys considered #1 in the division aren't bad either. The more time goes by the better Canenlo's odds get IMO Canelo is fighting better fighter than GGG so the experience he's getting will help him grow exponentially. I may be critical of GGG but I like him as a fighter but right now he's all hype style wise Canelo edge's it in a close one

Canelo don't stand a snow***** chance in hell of beating GGG. He will get beat from pillar to post and finally dispatched in a heap. Once he feels that triple G heat, he will be moving backwards faster than Khan. Canelo got a lot of people fooled. He don't want none of GGG. Trout had him backing up ffs, Trip G will have his ass running for border.

All hype is an overstatement. He's been in with solid fighters and demolished them.

This would be a terrific fight and I have no doubt Canelo would take it. The guy has taken on every challenge people said he would avoid, so I've got to give him respect for that.

I would pick GGG by TKO ref stoppage after a few KDs. Canelo would look to fight GGG a bit like he did Angulo where he came in with quick and diverse combos and then avoided anything Angulo tried to come back with, even if it wasn't all that much Angulo tried. I'm just not so sure this, or any other style he could bring, would challenge GGG much. Golovkin has underrated boxing skills to go along with his power and it's too much for anyone at 160 or under.

Also, it seems Cotto agreeing to a Canelo showdown later this year in order to air his next fight might force Cotto's hand. The winner of that fight would be the obvious and mandated choice for GGG early next year.
