It's all about promoters/locations/crowd favoritism etc.

 

That was probably only the money from US TV, Khan likely makes more from UK TV income on top of the quoted amount. Khan usually makes between 1 to 1.5 million dollars per fight.

Also while Khan is well known he isn't really a star in terms of drawing power. He fights predominantly in the US where he has a limited fan base without the normal nationalistic or racially motivated fans, which limits his earning potential. He has also alienated many potential UK fans by being exposed by Prescott and being generally unlikable from arrogance, cherry picking, cheating on his wife, repeated driving offences, one that resulted in the death of a man who's life was ruined from the injuries inflicted by Khan's reckless driving habits.

because Khant is only a star in his head. In reality he's a man without a home. The UK doesnt like ducking MFs like that. They appreciate blue collar fighters ready to put the work In.

 

last time Khan fought Thurman was on his undercard, so presumably made more money than him. As he hasn't fought much recently and isn't a world champion his earning potential is lower.

How Khan makes money at all is the real question. He's the best paid duck in the world. So unfair.

 

If Khan fought Salka he would have got close to 1.5 million.

He got 700k for the Devon fight, because Devon demanded a bigger slice of the fight.(Close to 700k too i reckon)
