Sweep? No. But he won more than the Judges gave him.

Weisfeld gave the first 6 to Peterson and there is no way anyone here agrees with that.
And the other two judges gave Peterson only 1 out of the first 7 rounds, that being the 3rd round.
No way Peterson only won one round during the first half.

He scored the fight 115-113 Garcia so he obviously didn't score the first 6 to Peterson.

Lamont had ZERO confidence the first few rounds.

He was running too much to win all the early rounds in my opinion

Still he fought a very smart fight and I could easily see how someone would have him winning

Peterson landed 9 power punches the first 6 rounds.
Please watch the fight on mute, it's amazing how different the fight feels without SRL.

And to those people saying, "See how messed up compubox is"...on rewatch, I only counted 8 landed punches for Peterson the first 6 rounds.

Round 3 is the only round someone should consider giving Peterson within the first 6.

And giving Peterson more than 3 rounds within the first 10 is kind of ridiculous.

Garcia landed 42 more power punches than Peterson...this Danny hate on here should really take it down a notch.

I agree. Ring Generalship with a few pot shots and jabs landing is > walking forward and landing nothing clean at all. Thought the final score was terrible.

Agree with you, what the **** are people saying Garcia took the first half of the fight? What fight were you mother****ers watching. Too many parrots. Garcia wasn't landing clean at all. Throwing that ****ty right as peterson shoulder rolled out out of there 1-2 1-2 from he outside.

1st half of the fight Peterson controlled the fight with his jab and movement. That kept Danny at Lamonts range and allowed him to dictate the real estate. Danny had very limited success in the first 6 rounds with his body work. But there were maybe 2 or 3 rounds that Danny picked up out of the 1st 6.

The 2nd half of the fight Lamont changed his tactics and began closing distance and took the fight to Garcia on the inside where he completely dominated and began breaking Danny down.

The fact that Danny started from jump going to the body and Peterson didn't start until round 6 shows who had the more effective punches.....Not to mention the proof was written all over Danny's face by the 4th round.

Lamont won. I know the way it went down on paper but I know an ass whoopin' when I see it and Lamont handed Danny one of those last night.

Peterson didn't win the first 4 rounds. You guys pick and choose when to like a boxer sticking and moving, and when to call a fighter a runner. Yesterday, you guys called Peterson a boxing master.

The next time a guy sticks and moves against a fighter that you like, you'll call him a runner.

i didn't score the fight and missed parts of some rounds, but I thought garcia had a lead the first half but Lamont came on so strong and almost had garcia running. I thought Lamont deserved that win. And he did more damage, way more damage.
