I found that odd, because in fights that are close, usually fighters want to say something bad about judges, or at least disagree but their answers were very politically correct on the judges in my opinion....
I thought Quillin won by a few points atleast, I was shocked to see the unofficial score card even around the 8th round. He also damaged Lee's face and had 1 more KD. I wasn't scoring it but seemed really messed to me. Also thought Lamont did enough to win against Garcia, he also did more damage to him, but I know he gave away some early rounds and again wasn't scoring it so may have been fair, but the way he closed the show and won the championships rounds was impressive. Garcia's dad saying Lamont was running and then Lamont starts stalking Garcia and Garcia has the audacity to say Lamont was running, yet it was him the last few rounds going backwards .
Probably because the cards were pretty fair. People love to cry robbery when they don't agree with a card, but the truth is that both of those fights were close. A draw or decision by a couple of rounds either way would have been perfectly fair in either fight. And all four fighters seemed to agree with that. The only ridiculous scores I've seen are some of the ones on this board with 119-109 type wipeouts
Did you guys notice that Sam Watson and his twins were absent from Garcia's entourage after the fight? They avoided the scene of a crime.
