How would The Hitman fare against the modern welterweight and junior middleweights?

He would never beat Tommy! Hearns left jab was the best ever

I think Tommy is the all time worst matchup for Floyd. I think he stops Pac and has a good chance at stopping Floyd too. He was massive at WW.

The rest of the WW division has no chance against him. His chin/stamina issues are overstated.

Only two welterweights in history I would pick over Hearns. maybe Leonard(and that's only with a same day weigh-in) and Ray Robinson. I can't think of any junior middleweights I would pick over him except Robinson.

I guess he might pick up a loss somewhere along the way, but would dominate for the most part. #1 P4P and all that.

Pac would of gave him a hell of a fight prime Pac would of most likely stopped him late on but it would not be easy.

I think Pac's style would of been all wrong for tommy and i could see tommy succumbing to the onslaughts

Pac fought tall guys in his career height is not a big deal

Dont get me wrong i am not saying it would be easy but i see Pac in his prime stopping tommy late on with hard straight lefts

Hearns is too big and good for any Welterweight today.

I just can't see it. None of the big guys Pac has fought are half as skilled as Tommy. He was a huge, fast and ACCURATE puncher. Only time he was ever stopped at WW was in the 14th round against SRL. Tommy would pick Manny off from the outside before ending him with a straight right.
