Lmao at all the cotto stans happy with him defending the lineal title against a guy Golovkin brushed aside in three rounds, and at 157lbs. And then hopefully fight a 154lber next. Anything to keep him away from his actual number one challenger (the guy who demolished his next opponent) Cotto stans have no shame... fighter groupies, not boxing fans.

    This.

Its one thing to reap the rewards of a career built on fighting big fights (in which he was given millions upon millions of dollars for) by calling the shots as he sees fit.

I nor anyone should have a problem with Cotto fighting whoever he wants... Canelo, Bradley, Rios, ect... many good fights left for him.

Its that he wants to hold an official position within a division, its lineal champion, while doing what he wants, that should be bugging everyone outside of the teens here with Cotto posters on their wall.

Cotto nauseates me. Watch his judges give Geale the business on June 6th as well.

I reckon Geale has a decent chance of pulling this off. He looked pretty good at times against GGG. I hope he wins :)

Lol, the butthurt Cotto haters still wiping the salt off.

WHY is GGG still at middleweight fighting journeymen and euro bums?

What exactly is he waiting for? What is there for him at middleweight? Cotto is fighting Geale next then having a PPV megafight with Canelo if he gets passed Geale.

Andy Lee and Quillin are probably having a rematch, and Taylor is about to get sent to a mental hospital.

Like I said before, WHY is he still at middleweight? As a fan I want to see him in the best fights possible before he gets old(he's already 31/32). Move up! There's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't. If he does, the legend will continue.

If Cotto wins, he's gonna have a mega fight with Canelo next May then probably retire. Is GGG really gonna wait 2 years to possibly fight a shot welterweight? He honestly needs to move up.

I'm hoping that the WBC enforces the "winner has GGG as mandatory" ruling. It will look very poor indeed if Geale wins or if Cotto goes life-and-death with Geale and is allowed to dodge GGG. Everybody will be squirming because they will know Golovkin is the elephant in the room. If Cotto destroys Geale (doubt it) then who knows if he would gather the cojones to face GGG ...

Is Geale not a top 10 middleweight?
And was Cottos last fight not a year ago?

Its a good fight but he has to fight Golovkin next.

I agree cuz it seems as if HBO wants the Canelo fight first then push the winner verses Golovkin

I wouldn't say demolished cuz Geale held his own until GGG landed the right and in that process he got hit by 1 & it seemed as if Geale had him a bit frustrated with movement

Geale is not a top 10 middleweight he would get KO'd by Lee, Quillin, Leimenex,Stevens, Johnson, Korobov,he would get out boxed by Monroe, Saunders, Eubank, Murray, N'dam.
