It will dent his legacy in my opinion. There are plenty of challenges at LHW and he's never been even willing to discuss moving up which is strange as there's nothing left at SMW other than a beating from Andre Ward.
What a flat boring fall asleep response. In terms of boring fookers - you are the P4P all time forum great.
Why would he move up? He would be a tiny light heavy weight guys like Kovalev, Beterbiev are massive by the time they are in the ring, He would get iced by those guys. Just look at how small Pascal looked in there compared to Kovalev. Froch just isn't big enough psychically its really not all that hard to work out
If he hasn't ever had an issue making weight why move up? What fights are there for him at 175, if anything the bigger fights have been at 160 for him.
Boxers move up because it will or they believe it will advantage them by doing so. Froch has made 168 very comfortably throughout his career and for many years 168 was one of the hottest divisions out there. Granted it isn't now but its near the end of his career so why bother moving up for his legacy, when all real boxing fans now that he has more than secured that already through his fighting style and his level of competition.
he stays near the 168 limit all the time.. its his natural fighting weight not like some guys who drain down then bang it all back on (Gatti, Peterson, Hatton etc) over night.. it gives him the best chance of competing at the optimum level He has had loads of big name big money fights... He could rematch pascal at lw, the pimp, or kovalev but there isn't really any need. He relies on his physical attributes a lot strength, stamina, chin and maybe they wouldn't be as effective against bigger guys so a combnation of factors I reckon
