    Remember what happened the last time Ruslan fought a retreating Argentinian, and Algieri wasn't even born in Argentina or have fists of plutonium. Matthysse will hospitalize poor Ruslan.:-( Unfortunately FACT:| Because I like Provo.

    I just really don't think Matthysee can do this. Provodnikov was able to catch Herrera, Algieri, and Bradley...and they are all better slick/moving boxers than Matthysee. And Provodnikov arguably still beat all of them.

    I said Ruslan would win by late stoppage, but now I'm even more certain. Matthysee's best chance was to land hard shots early and stop Prov in his tracks. By moving and retreating, he's only gonna weaken his punching power and tire himself out even more. This is basically gonna be a reply of the Alvarado fight.

    You tend to forget that Matthysse is always looking for a body punch. It reduces the chances of Provodnikov knocking him out lately. I see it two ways:

    - Provodnikov knocks him out during 8 rounds because Matthysse can't handle the pressure and is badly affected by Provo's punches.
    - Matthyse manages to establish his rhythm early in the fight, uses his jab and outpoints Provodnikov.

    This will prob happen for about a round then Lucas will land something decent and jus get drawn into sluggin it out with Ruslans chin holding up to draw it into a slugfest and the rest of the fight will be 'phone box material' with them been on each other's chest till one of them crumbles

    This will be a mistake for Lucas to try and box. People think ruslan loses to a boxer...easy peasy, box him u win, but ruslan has faced far superior boxers than Lucas and has arguably gotten the best of all of them. He could be undefeated as his 3 losses were to very skilled boxers who eeked out controversial decisions. If he could beat up on guys with the mobility of Algieri, Herrera and bradley he can surely beat up on Lucas matthyse in boxer mode. Lucas is a slugger first. I think if he has any hope of winning he better stick to what he's best at.

    Going life and death with John Molina does not bode well for a firefight with Provodnikov... if Matthysse goes toe to toe he's getting iced, and I doubt he'll be able to keep Prov off by sticking and moving like Algieri did. Provodnikov has been overhyped, but probably not as badly as Matthysse has.

    Here's the catch to Ruslan beating other pure boxers that are better than Matthysse none of them could punch for ****, and even they had his head shooting straight back everytime he walked into a counter like Algieri, or had the corner on the verge of stopping it from accumulated damage like Bradley. All featerfists, MATTHYSSE IS NOT FEATHERFISTED.

    Also Alvarado was beaten to a pulp by Ruslan but that match went a few rounds longer than Rios Alvarado1, because Mike is evidently easier to drop and hurt than everyone thought.
