Those scorecards were absurd. Lucas won easily

yup 9-3. prov got beaten to a pulp

 

I thought the score cards were alright. I didn't think the fight was a total washout for Lucas as some of y'all are implying. From my perspective he missed quite a bit with this jab and Provo was just landing better shots at times.

Great fight regardless.

 

Re watched It and gave Matthysse 8 rounds could have been 9 but I gave Ruslan the 12th neither landed much tho

So it appears it's YOU who doesn't have a clue.

 

I thought Lucas won 7 rounds.

Ruslan won a good amount of the rounds in the last half of the fight, but I thought Lucas did well early on and was just more active overall, especially with that left jab of his. I think an 8-4 or 7-5 scorecard is reasonable (I didn't think it was draw-worthy though.)

I think a rematch down the line would be great. Who knows how much closer it would've been if Ruslan didn't get accidentally headbutted so early in the fight. That was a really bad cut.

 

the cards of Don Ackerman & Harold Ledderman were spot on Ruslan earned a draw at least . Lucas gave everything he'd got but Ruslan just kept on coming. That's the third time Rulan lost a close dec he could easily have won

 

I think you have to be generous to give Ruslan more than 4 rounds. I had it 116-112 nd I wouldn't argue with 117-111.

Provodnikov is a tough b@s**** but Lucas was lighting him up for most of the fight.

 

Lucas won clearly but it sure as hell wasnt easy.

Good fight with two tough and respectable guys.

Sad to see Ruslan losing another important fight. His story touched me.:verysad Damn...

Lederman has probably scored more fights than you've had shi ts.

And while he doesn't always get it right, he certainly has "a clue."

Same goes for the judge who scored it a draw.

And the numerous others who scored it either 6-6 or 7-5.


Just because someone doesn't see it your way doesn't mean they don't have a clue. Different folks look for different things.

Lucas clearly outlanded Provodnokov, but the biggest, most telling shots were landed by Prov. And only one man was rocked. several times.

I scored it a draw. I have no problem with 7-5.

And I don't agree that somebody who scored it 8-4 "doesn't have a clue about boxing."

 

Lucas won clearly IMO. The scores were too close.
