    I believe he could be once Mayweather retires.

    He's an ambidextrous boxer-puncher with a very high level of ring intelligence. His reflexes are sharp, chin is solid, jab is piston like, timing is impeccable, footwork is impressive and he's also a phenomenal body puncher.

    What's not to like here?

    I'm not sold on his chin but he is smooth and comes with a game plan. I don't think he has elite speed either, very good but not elite. He'll climb the ranks and maybe crack top ten by next year.

    how he got FOTY is beyond me.... for beating who?

    a gamboa who's been inactive for the past 3 years... and is a small featherweight, let alone fighting at lightweight.... broner put it best... shortboa....

    he has nothing.... 0.... he'd get murdered by a pacquiao....

    Bud is a beast, but I think he's in serious trouble once he runs into a real puncher. I think Ruslan and Lucas would KO him.

    Not sold on him yet. He KO'd two glass chinned fighters and he wasn't looking impressive in those fights. I don't think he's that great.
