Am I the only one who is scared that the fight might be postponed or called off?

    1. No tickets on sale to the public with 2 weeks to go. Even the 10 to 50 seats that might be leftover after the 2 fighters, MGM, and other companies hand theirs out :think

    2. MGM contract still not signed :huh

    3. No word of the CCTV

    4. Legal battle between Roach/Ariza 2 days before the fight date could make things messy even though it shouldn't impact the fight

Idk guys..I'm still not believing the fight will happen until the bell rings

I've thought about it too. No promotions of any sort. No tickets sold. Why would they hold back? Maybe the failings of the last 5 years has me in disbelief this fight is actually happening.

They're saying tickets will go for $10K as high as $100K front row. If I were the casino, I would be tearing down walls to accommodate more seats.

I think it will barely beat Floyd-Canelo in revenue.

Care to elaborate why you feel this way for some reassurance?

Was just trying to make him feel better.:yep

But I'll try to do better. The fights gonna happen because Floyd has trained his ass off for it, Manny has trained his ass off for it, HBO and Showtime have already sunk a ****load of time and money into it. There's no way anybody can stop the fight, if those 4 parties don't want it stopped.

All this **** about the contracts and the tickets, are just like the law suit against Roach...mind games being played by Team Floyd. To try and make PAC think about something else besides the fight, even if it's for a little. It's a distraction. Desperate acts by Team Floyd.

A lot of roadblocks coming from the Mayweather team, you cannot deny that. No tickets available, no contract with MGM and its two weeks out. Now Ariza, a part of Mayweather's camp is suing Roach. Perfect timing huh? Manny called as witness or whatever for deposition 2 days before fight.

Ya, there's nothing wrong here, the fight machine is working tip top shape right?

It will far surpass Floyd-Canelo at the gate and completely annihilate in PPV sales. Front row seats are reportedly $88,000 and possibly more depending on who shelves out more money. How much were front row seats for Floyd-Canelo? PPV will be more expensive than Floyd-Canelo by $30 and there will most likely be 700,000-1,500,000 more buys than Floyd-Canelo.

Do you think its Team May playing mind games? It would be a desperate and very low move, but also kinda genius. Keeping team PAC worried about the fight not being made (distraction #1), keeping roach worried about a lawsuit (distraction #2), forcing manny into court 2 days before the fight (distraction #3) and finally leaving Team Pac feeling powerless and at the mercy of Team May up until the tickets are handed over, constant reminder who the AsIde is :deal

It's a bit pathetic. You should be embarrassed if yer a Floyd fan. There's the traditional playing mind games, but what they are doing is very low.

*Though I have to add the issue with teh MGM and no ticket sales is freaking alarming. It's like TMT don't want a fight to happen?

because mayweather and pacquiao have put themselves through hellweek in preparing for this fight, and if it cancels, you won't have only furious fans but furious fighters.

They didn't dedicate all that time getting in perfect form and have all that money at their fingertips to let it go to waste due to silly issues like the venue and tix. They'd fight in the street May 2 if they had to.

The issue with the MGM is what should put your mind to ease dude. the MGM would NEVER screw over Floyd. Or even Pac for that matter. Floyd brings them so much business, when he says to sign the contracts and give the tickets out, I believe they will :deal. Or else they know Floyd next fight will be somewhere else.
