Some of his biggest strengths would be harmed (power, strength, chin), he makes weight easily and there have always been plenty of good fights for him at SMW.

    Highlight of this thread ?

Two clueless bellends ( Solaris and Brixton ) slagging one another.

Its a shame they don't meet up in person and drown each other.

Why should he move up? SMW has been a very strong and interesting division.

Doing a Ricky Hatton but going one step further...

Atleast Hatton went up towards the end & fought the best.

Froch will always be behind Hatton & Calzaghe

He said he looked into it when Cleverly was calling him out, but after a couple of weeks of training he was well below 175 anyway.

He said so the opponent didn't have a big size advantage he would have to remove most of the long runs from his training which he credits to how he comes on strong late fight- one of his best weapons.

(Sigh) Nobody compared them as fighters, just pointing out how nonsensical your "logic" is.

Who said there were any "amazing" super middleweights around at the moment? But there have been loads of good/very good ones around over the last few years and Froch has fought most of them.

Be ridiculous to move up to LHW hes a small SMW in all fairness Groves was much the bigger man when they fought.

I do agree however, he has a terrible defence and wouldn't be able to walk through shots at lhw.

I would of fancied Clev to have beaten him at LHW and in all fairness Froch didnt wanna box Stevenson at SMW let alone at LHW
