http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2015/4/1...-floyd-mayweather-paige-vanzant-tmz-interview In case you don't know, Vanzant is 5ft 4" 115lb woman I'm sure some people will still believe it though:rofl
Not the first time this diot has said something like this... He claimed the same with Rousey. He knows it's BS, but he's just trying to sell his increasingly stale product. I'm as big a MMA fan as any, but the UFC is becoming a joke and dragging the "sport" down with it.
Funny. White actually was involved with the boxing scene in the 90s, he boxed a little himself I think, and he was involved with training fighters in Vegas.
Maybe if White keeps saying stuff like this then one these women might actually end up fighting a man. Remember Lucia Rijker? She was dubbed 'The Most Dangerous Woman in the World', was unbeaten in Kickboxing and boxing, was knocking people out left, right and centre and people were making claims like she she would beat De La Hoya. Anyway, she must have believed it herself and agreed to fight a man (who was just some nobody) and needless to say, she got very badly knocked out.
And not very good either. Just check out her (lack of) stand up skills. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDKW_FRLhJc Dear oh dear oh dear. I'm watching the prelims right now, and she will fight on this card. Joe Rogan just described her as "A new breed of Athlete in MMA". Is he ****ing for real???? The hype is absolutely ridiculous. She also picked up a reebok sponsorship based on her looks. That gives you a clue what direction the UFC is heading in. WWE divas type ****.
The funny thing is people think Mayweather can't punch because he doesn't KO world class male boxers who outweigh him by at least 20lbs. A Mayweather jab would render this woman unconscious, convulsing on floor. A left to the liver would put her down, unable to breathe and leave her ****ing blood for a few days. And whilst Rousey is good at what she does, Mayweather would most likely brutally KO her before she gets in.
That's the macho i'm a big shot sounding story. Legend has it, that he was just a boxercise teacher. Not sure which is true, but anyways, his boxing experience is highly questionable put it that way. Dana White doesn't know s**t about boxing! http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/news/438727/White-Tito-I-remember-punching-your-head-in-you-puss/ Dana White @danawhite that's me when I was young and skinny and would punch ur head in while sparring cause u were a "champ" that didn't like getn hit. Then it spilled over to teh UG. Bellator Fan I remember back when Dana was trying to deny that he was a boxercise instructor. White replied reliably. From: dfw jr Member Since: 1/1/01 Posts: 1553 I never denied that I taught boxing classes ****face Tito Ortiz @titoortiz @danawhite you must of forgot where u came from! And 1,2,3, punch! Lets go GIRLS! Dana White @danawhite @titoortiz I Remember punching ur head in and watchin u roll around crying cause chuck hit u to the body and u quitting like the puss u are Tito Ortiz @titoortiz @danawhite I remember winning world titles when you were teaching girls how to box. And 1,2,3 punch. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
Typical of Dana... spewing **** out of his mouth like always Poor guy must be annoyed that Floyd vs Manny is happening yet he couldn't make one single fight when all his fighters are within 1 organisation yet he talked so much **** about Floyd/Manny not being able to make the fight Funny how he still has to talk about Mayweather just to get some attention, the ufc are struggling, mma peaked in 2009 and now it's just going to fade, they have a ton of events on but it's not doing anything new, no rise in audiences and it's decline in Europe because so many cards are on which are not stacked and people just cant be bothered watching them Apparenntly Jones vs DC and Silva vs Diaz did good numbers... but lets look at the backlash from that Jones vs DC was a fight that didn't live up to the hype, they put a load of awful fights on the main card that it probably drove everyone a way Then Silva vs Diaz (a superfight in only newcomers eyes) was a boring sparring match literally And then both fighters test positive for drugs
My theory is, that because the UFC have tried hard to cater to the casuals and not try and build a good package for combat sports enthusiasts, they risk fading in to obscurity. Boxing has a good base of followers and hardcore fans with regards to what it has built up over the decades and casuals dip in when there are big fights. MMA doesn't quite have a big enough base of dedicated fans, but rely heavily on the casual crowd to get them numbers and generate interest. The problem with that, is when cards turn out to be not so good, the casuals will quickly lose interest and divert their attention to other sports or events. The UFC needed to spend a lot more time, going after boxing fans, and not alienating them, but trying to encourage them to take a look at MMA, not as an alternative to boxing, but something supplementary to it. Pure and simple, it has been due to their arrogance that we are seeing a dip and decline in viewing figures and general interest waning. The UFC need to go back to basics and start building up organically and stop trying to make the sport look like a flash in the pan, by promising the casuals incredible cards and then not delivering. but instead being realistic about their product and tone things down a bit. Also stop ****ing off and pushing away boxing fans too, and try and build interest from within the fight fan community.
This is such a desperate pizs poor attempt at promoting the UFC product. It can actually backfire on Dana because all the otherwise devoted MMA or WMMA crowds will develop a inner urge to go out of their way to the boxing feeds to check out what Mayweather has been up to.
Dana comes off like a frat boy most of the time and not a business man. All he does is disrespect Boxing and Boxers. Never see him calling out BJJ blackbelts or Karate specialists. Because Dana knows Boxing is his biggest competition as a sporting event. Dana makes enemies too often. So many former UFC guys or MMA guys outside of UFC have so much dislike for him.
It was only a matter of time before prostitutes headlined UFC events. Even the WWE weren't that shameless.
