No question he's top 100 for me, he's definitely proven he deserves that distinction over time. Tidy little boxer.

I have been an avid boxing fan for over 50 yrs and closely followed the careers of many of the great fighters across all divisions.
I don't particularly like Floyd as a person and almost always find myself routing for his opponents like many others I guess.

That being said though, if you don't have him at very least in your top 20 all time, then I can confidently say that your list has no credibility. He is a remarkable talent and a superbly conditioned fighter. If he gets past Pacqiao I would struggle to make a case for him being anywhere outside the top 10.

I have prime Curry kicking Floyds ass. Don Curry'soriginal manager Dave Gorman & trainer Paul Reyes had Don from a peewee golden glover & steered him to a world title They looked after him fine' It wasn't till Akhbar Muhhammad , I think his name was , got to Don with his big $$$$ fast cars fast women lifestyle that Don's career started to go downhill
He forced Don into going ahead with the Honeyghan fight ever though Don had the flu & hadn't trained properly. A 100% Don would have kicked Honeyghans ass

Floyd beat alot of legends who were fading, but those legends were still able to be the top fighters in their division when Floyd fought them (Oscar best @154 and Mosley best @147 at the time, the best at least officially or on paper. But everyone knew it was really Pacman, Margarito, Cotto, and Williams that they wanted to see Floyd in against. Impressive wins nonetheless, mo money fighting Oscar, so can't blame him for fighting Oscar instead, but could of still faced Margarito afterwards. Samething with Pacquiao beating Barrera, only difference is Pacquiao was unknown and not expected to beat the faded, but still top 126lber Barrera. You just can't evaluate or rank a fighter's greatness cuz of the names of his resume, that's how they get hyped up in the first place. You have to see WHEN they fought the opponent and at what point in their career was their opponent in. Right now they are both top 40-50 pretty dead even imo. Pacman fought Marquez at his best, Floyd didn't. 4 classic fights were made. Floyd had one classic with Castillo, but no where near as great as the Dinamita-Pacman saga.

Kovalev is comparably new He did beat a legend in Bernard Hopkins & I do not believe he is in the least intimidated by Stevenson. As a FIGHTER!! yes Kovalev is already superior to Floyd In my opinion Floyd CANNOT FIGHT!! As for legacy we'll have to wait & see Floyd's legacy is already shot
