Honestly, anyone who has Floyd or Manny at No.1 knows ZILCH about this game.

    The Mountain

The only man in modern times that rivals Wilt Chamberlain, Gene Simmons, and Genghis Khan in the sack and women can't resist him that he has to carry a special mace spray to repel females. He chose to be a fighter because he didn't want to leave Brad Pitt and George Clooney without a job.

    This right here...

Having Floyd or Manny as #1 does not mean you know zilch about boxing. ATG lists are compiled purely by opinion and are completely fictional. So who you have as #1 is your opinion. I would say most pundits would agree that either SRR or Ali could or should be #1, and with that I agree. I have no problem with someone's opinion as Floyd or Manny there though, as there resumes' are unmatched, and i don't just mean the names on them. In history they are the only 2 fighters to have ever held the Lineal title (Widely regarded #1 in the division) in 5 different weight classes, each has held that position in some division or anpther over the past 3 decades, and after May 2nd one will have beaten the best of their era. No other boxer in history not even Ali or SRR came make that claim. While i personally do not agree that either is #1 or will be after their fight. There is definitely an argument for it. If you can not see that, then it is you who knows zilch about this sport.

There are a lot of fanboys around here who call them number 1 because they don't watch boxing just Manny or Floyd.

Ali and Robinson at 1 and 2 isn't though and some others are pretty accurate. And you can see beside their names, how many people agreed and disagreed I think. Floyd is 29 and just about as many people disagree as agree with it lol so he's right where he should be.

The list is terrible. Micky Ward and Arturo Gatti are in the top 50. Tommy Morrison is on the list... It's a popularity contest.
