How is he even top 10? Yeah, he is very athletic and he moves really well for such a big man, but his skills are limited compared to all the P4P fighters in the top 10. - No mid-range game - No inside game - No body shots - Limited punch variety - Hugging and clinching Guys like Golovkin & Kovalev have a lot more skills than Wlad. They have a much better punch variety and much better overall skills. I don't want to see Wlad in anymore P4P lists anymore. It's silly.
Wlad is safety first. P4P isn't about being exciting, it's about winning. Wlad knows how to win. He's said it MANY times: He doesn't fight to please the fans, he fights ton WIN, doesn't matter what the fans think, he doesn't give a single ****.
He isn't in reality (if we could magically make them all fight p4p), but in terms of accomplishments he is top 3.
P4P is about skills. Wlad has accomplished a lot, but his brother Vitali has a better skillset. Wlad has used his size (and tolerant referees) to win a lot of these fights. He's got some good skills, but P4P skills? I don't think so.
His resume speaks for itself. People are too quick with the big words immediately after a mediocre performance. Tonight was more about Jennings being big than Wlad being bad.
So you think a 39yr old should be prime because he hasn't been in wars. Haha keep smoking the meth gummy bear.
he its safe because he fights the weakest HW Ever! he out weights his opponents by far! he fight like a robot, no skills! he still winning i give him credit for that! but he fight the weakest ear in hw boxing and thats a fact
P4P is mythical fanboy bull****. In reality Wlad would beat the **** out of every boxer at the top of every other division. He would **** up Mayweather and Pacquiao in the same night. Both of whom by the way would not fight like they do if they were 250 lbs of solid muscle.
He has beating countless top 10 fighters and some #1 challengers while being on a long undefeated streak having unified the division holding 3 belts + the lineal for some years now. Of course he is a top 10 P4P fighter. Underrated by many in that regard. If somebody sat at subpar 115 lbs. for as long as Wlad did and reigned with the same success then they'd also be damn high on the list.
