Should Wladimir Klitschko retire?

    His glass mandible hasn't reared its ugly head in 10 years.

    No one will KO him right now, but he has to retire soon or that might change.

    Some guys in this forum is tragic. Klitschko barely lost 2 rounds, and 1 of them was cause he get point deducted, and people are talking about retire , rly?
    Not every match can be won by KO. Jennings was a solid, solid fighter and keep his guard up, all the time, his defence was very good.
    Klitschko did not want to take risk and play it safe and won on points.
    The fight was not even close, and morons start crying and start making 10000 threads how Wlad should retire, how Fury and Wilder will beat him, but no one give him props for taking such good boxer as mandatory defence. He is not midget like Wilder to face only tomato bums, same goes for Fury.

    He really didn't look much different

    If you think he should retire, then you probably should have felt that way for years in my opinion

    Maybe not yet, but he definitely slipped. His right cross was MIA tonight. And his left hook. His jab is limpy. And he looked tired.

    Against Fury, he'd look 100 years old.

    I'm not saying he loses to either one of them now, but if he stays around to long, they might be able to.

    Looked different, was not his usual dominant self.

    You are right, he IMO easilly beat Jennings.

    But he is 40 and there comes a time where even guys you would have beaten easily in the past become more difficult to handle. Wlad needs to retire before that day happens.

    He wasn't pleasant to watch.... but this is what happens when certain boxing styles collide.

    I would like to see him fight 2-3 more times. Fight Wilder and if he wins one more fight to defend all of the belts then retire. If he loses, obviously a rematch should happen and then see what happens there.

    Vulnerable in that he wasn't dominant in every round like he usually is, couldn't really hurt Jennings until the 12th, Jennings was coming forward roughing him up a bit, and no real answers from Wlad.

    Wladimir looked lethargic and uninterested in the fight.

    He DID look different, and if you didn't notice it, then you should have looked more carefully before.

    Chris Bird is stylistically similar to Jennings. He was even slicker than Jennings at his prime. Back then Wladimir used jabs to the body effectively which later helped him to put down opponent's high guard defense. Now he punched body like 3 times or something. Wlad also no longer uses one-two combinations as he had been doing it. His jab, though it still wins fights, is not as unique as it has been before.

    Wladimir Klitschko is definitely past his prime and would have a hard time with Wilder, Fury and Povetkin. I'm not saying he loses, but these fights won't contribute to his legacy.

    Byrd was so long ago

    I'm talking about more recently

    Hes definitely the same guy that blasted Pulev out

    After that demolition, some people were higher on him than ever before

    But the style match up made Wlad look very good

    Here it makes him look not quite as good

    But its the same Wlad in my opinion
