If that was Deontay Wilder in there, he'd be out cold

No chance his pitiful glass jaw would have taken those right hands. Jennings has a chin made of granite.

Ya its funny seeing people trying to rationalize that Wilder will have so much more success then Jennings when they are absolutely nothing alike.

Wilder would get hurt early. Wladimir knows the extent of his challenge and fights accordingly.

I'd say the number one reason wlad had more trouble than usual tonight was Jennings' footwork and angles. Wilder fights nothing like that. I feel that he'd be open to huge right hands.

The left hook (I think it was) that spun Jennings around would have dropped and stopped Wilder, in my opinion. Not to mention the right hands in the last round.

To beat Wlad you have to be able to absorb punishment. Like Brewster did. Or you have to be insanely fast and unorthodox like Sanders (southpaw) was.

Wilder is fast, but he's orthodox. And his chin isn't good enough.

Anyone not named Corrie Sanders has to be able to take a number of punches from Wlad to beat him. Wilder can't do that.

If Wilder boxed as well as Jennings and landed those same shots, having more power,he'd probably KO Wlad. Trouble is Wilder isn't as good a boxer as Jennings. I don't think Wilder would be able to create those same openings. BUT Wilder is taller. He has quick hands too. So I think Wilder would still be a tough fight.

Wlad is the one with the proven glass jaw and everybody knows that. Wilder would have been able to reach and check that chin. Good night Mr Hammer.

Only partially a reference to Fury's namesake. But whatever.
