Thank god for Deontay Wilder, the saviour of the HW division

  4. As a Black Man I'm tired of seeing Black fighters not throw their hands in fights like they should. All that harlem shaking and not throwing punches is getting corny. He lost the fight just like Peterson did. This ain't Soul Train, if you wanna beat the Champ knock his ass out!!

Best HW of my lifetime is closing in on all time records. But I suspect if Wlad was from Kenya, the division would be formidable

The heavyweight division is unbearable because the top 10 contenders to Wlad continually fail to fight each other. And it has been going on for a number of years.

Wilder, Povetkin, Haye, Glazkov, Pulev, Fury, Thompson...

These lot have 1 fight between the lot of them  It is pathetic. These fights need to get made.

thompson and povetkin are fighting contenders. the rest are trying to duck their way to a title.

Imagine for the remainder of 2015 you have

    Wlad vs Fury
    Joshua vs Wilder
    Povetkin vs Pulev
    Stiverne vs Jennings
    Haye vs Price
    Wach vs Helenius

There are many possible great match ups that just dont happen for various reasons. If there was a governing body to dictate such fights in timely manners, we`d still have a decent division. Its just not well operated. Thats the problem.

If Wlad was a brash african american I'm sure some people would view him and the division differently.

    1. United States Joe Louis 11 years, 8 months, 8 days Universal 25
    2. Ukraine Wladimir Klitschko 9 years and 2 days IBF (+WBA, WBO, Ring
    3. United States Larry Holmes 7 years, 3 months, 12 days WBC-to-IBF (+The Ring/Lineal)

Yes he sucks so bad :lol:

No the only problem with Wlad is he isn't an African American. And If US wasn't so racial no-one would question hiss greatnes.

The division is ok. Its just annoying that it is completely ruled by 1 boring as hell operator who nobody can beat. Last night went as expected as far as im concerned, apart from Vlad chosing not to be as aggressive as i thought he would.

Theres alot of intersting match ups not happening but thats only cuz the sport is allowed to be run like this in all divisions. Vlad has faced everyody other than his own brother in the last 10 years that has been seen a threat. Fury, Wilder are next, anybody else who are looking decent that havent already been faced are still coming through the ranks.

Its just the way it is.

Yeah no. You can call Floyd boring all you want, but besides the Maidana 2 fight which he didn't even clinch close to a normal Wlad fight, he hasn't clinched that much. I'm sure even a casual fan would find Wlad a million times more boring than Floyd.
