I'm truly not sure if Floyd is still the fighter that beat Mitchell up that night. That was a long time ago and FMJ appears to have slowed down in recent fights.

If he does show up as focused, fast, and sharp as he was that night, then Pac will have his work cut out for him. Pac is still a more dangerous fighter than Mitchell, regardless.

They should have fought YEARS ago! :huh

    Here's what's going to happen:

No knockdowns, no one seriously hurt, Mayweather wins a UD, crowd boos, millions of pay per view folks wonder why in the heck they laid down their bucks for this, and...before the lights dim, some "expert" will trowel out the ol' mantra: "We gotta have a rematch"
    :patsch

    Total BS!

It only became a sticky about 24 hours ago.

Before that, it was bumped to page 1 on nearly a daily basis since cuchulain made it.

Now that May-Pac's almost over, the next big thing is Canelo's fight.

Pac wins by majority decision in a bogus 7-5 split. Pac will have done better than the scorecards indicate. Pac will knock Money down twice... once early and once later to everyone's surprise. He will thank god and Floyd after and Money will blame something for the loss... maybe a horse hair allergy or overtraining or Manny's "unnatural" talent. They will make a billion dollars in a rematch and Floyd will lose again but get a draw, with Manny being robbed the win. This will set up a third fight and I'm not sure exactly how that will go. It will not do as well number wise as the previous two fights.

    That said...

After the last couple of fights and training it's really sinking into Floyd now that he is not the same fighter he was. He waited so long to hopefully fight a "shot" Manny that he shot himself to pieces in the process. The strategy backfired. Manny and Roach knows this. That's why they are all smiles and laughs. Floyd doesn't have the reflexes and stamina he once did. His shoulder roll **** and IQ doesn't work without these qualities. He's a walking RJJ. He knows he is in trouble if Manny comes in good. To top it off, he's emotional about it. Floyd is just looking too stiff and old anyway you slice it.

Floyd by clear UD. Floyd's defense will dictate the pace of the fight. Once Manny sees how hard it will be to land, and he tastes a few hard counters, he will probably start trying to think more. This will play into Floyd's hands. Roach which will be cursing trying to get through to Manny, telling him to knock this f#cker out. Floyd will get confident and try for the KO late in the fight. But, only briefly. He won't get it. Manny will win the exchange and Floyd will back off and forget about that KO. And he will cruise to a UD, instead.
