Don't know about all time but Mike McCallum comes to mind. You got torn up if you met this guy on the inside. He had a long reach but could shorten up his punches to throw inside hooks and upper cuts perfectly. You don't see inside art work like that no more.
Jack Johnson was far better. On film, Tommy seems mostly to set traps for his long range right... at least in my memory.
Duran and Toney come to mind. Bowe was a terrific in-fighter, especially given his height and reach. Futch did a great job.
Holyfield's inside game is underrated as is Bert Cooper's. Honestly the 90's were full of heavy-handed HW inside fighters. Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson, Tua, Cooper, etc.
