Pac isn't a midget, he is a 'Really Big Midget" and there is a major difference.

Really Big Midgets have the strength of large men, the agility and speed of little men, but are less vulnerable than any man. They are nearly impossible to damage unless you get lucky or have immense power, and they are impossible to keep off you.

In the future please distinguish between a mere midget, and A Really Big Midget, as the two are completely different animals. One is a fat ****er spaniel that a child could kick unconscious, and the other is an efficient killing machine.

One of the FEW threads that have been worth reading since this fight was made. The party has started here. Will be back tomorrow to EAT CROW or call the pac fans IDIOTS!

That would be a great opportunity to do so, yes.

The problem for Pacquiao is that he doesn't excel with that punch from a standstill. It works a lot better for him as the punctuation of a combo (especially the patented bunny-hopping 1-1-2)

Turning over a counter right hook over a jab a`la carte is very unlike Pacquiao, foreign territory for him. I suppose he could do it, though, especially on the early side if Mayweather is unable to get an exact bead on Pacquiao's speed, timing, and reflexes straight away, leading him to miscalculate range & what he can get away with in terms of the jab downstairs.

You rarely see him lead with it.

It would be outside his comfort zone.

Apparently there is a feature whereby YouTube can detect copyrights tracks (even of grainy quality in the background of a cell phone recording) and even remove them from your video, which also helps eliminate claims by the songs' copyright holders getting your video pulled/blocked in some countries/muted.

I'm having them re-render now to see if YouTube can get rid of the music while still preserving the overall integrity of the audio.

I just shaved like 65% of it off. I used to rock that "Jihad risk" vibe and got all the side-eye when boarding flights.

Is the check hook all that effective against a southpaw? Given he's leading with right his chin will be protected somewhat, no? Btw I was watching the Mayweather v Hatton fight earlier and that check hook is absolutely sublime.

I think the reach advantage is key, five inches is just huge. Great post btw.

It'd probably be harder to pull off I imagine due to the angle.

Pacquiao's height is an issue, there, as far as his right providing a natural barrier to obscure his chin. If he is retracting it properly after each jab in a responsible manner, it will cover his chin area but it won't protect him from a shoulder-height Mayweather counter left hook. That will still land flush on the right side of Pacquiao's head, maybe around his temple.

Normally, a southpaw of like height with their orthodox foe can just hang back, stand tall, and keep their right glove up and it pretty severely limits how the opponent can land the left hook, making them lunge with it.

The way Pacquiao fights combined with the height differential will almost guarantee that Mayweather catches a piece of him with any high left hook thrown while Pac is coming in with even a tightly buttoned-down 1-1-2, let alone the sometimes lazy version of it that will probably rear its ugly head at some point while Pac is taking a minute or so off for a breather. (which he always does, in every fight, despite his seeming Energizer Bunny internal battery, very adept in camouflaging it so most opponents never even know)

Great point on footwork. May's footwork has to be ON POINT, half steps. Don't give away his reach advantage
