Only done this a few times & to be fair , when I'm drunk I can't rememeber much of what happens.

Me an the brother got into a routine of watching normal matchroom shows at mine on the sky, with a takeaway

& box nation shows (maidana 1 & 2) live at his - have a nap, get to his for 3/4 ish, watch chief support & main event...

Stick on a buffet & good to go..!

depends on how you are as a person staying up late tbh

i've done both for big fights
personally the better option for me is a few hours kip, like go bed at 11 and get up at 3ish

that way I'm quite awake for the fight and can concentrate on it

usually if its a **** undercard i find myself tired on undercard and knackered when main fight comes on.......baring in mind its likely a ring walk will be around 4.30-5

so if you find yourself easily capable of staying awake till 6, go for it, but id recommend a few hours kip before it

    :good

If he isn't handy, you could try and grab a few hours kip from say 8pm (I think that's when all those fcuking X-Factor type programmes are on, so you won't be missing anything decent).

My humble opinion is that if possible, you should always try and watch a big fight live!! Trying to watch it at a more sensible hour is fraught with dangers... not least, you being awoke by the dulcet tones of a gang of drunken bastads, walking past your house and happily extolling (in their loudest voice of course) Floyd/Manny's greatness ... and how unexpected that 7th round ko was!!!

Mate's picking me up in a couple of hours so going to watch the start of the program and see the build up. The hype will keep me awake the whole night. Going to have a coffee before I go though.

Gotta say gents this is some funny thread!! Lol been contemplating what to do all day, ie get some kip and then get up 3-4 am or just get on it and pull an all nighter. Glad I'm not the only one finding this a difficult decision!! Still 50/50 on what I'm gonna do tbh- wanna stay up but dont wanna be totally brain dead tired by the time the ring walks happen!! Either way I'm watching the fight live, only option IMO!!
