Why are people saying this fight sucked?

I thoroughly enjoyed this as both a Pac fan, and a Mayweather hater. No robbery. Result was close and I have no complaints. Rematch in fall.

I enjoyed it, the tension is what made it.

 

I didn't find it particular entertaining but there was no doubt who the better boxer is. I think Floyd beats him 10/10 to be honest.

 

Because Floyd won. If Pac won, I guarantee a lot of casual would have been more than satisfied.

 

Because their fighter lost.

 

the only enjoyment was the possibility pac might land something big

 

It was a snooze fest like most every Mayweather fight.

 

I struggled to stay awake.

 

neither man looks that marked up was more a 20 mile run than a fight

 

Yeah but we all thought the clash of styles would gel but sadly that wasn't the case.

The only people saying it sucked are the ones who thought/wanted Mayweather to become a totally different fighter and trade with Pac in the middle of the ring.

Mayweather fights like this. Manny had no answers.

Where were the angles we were continually promised?

I got exactly what I paid for from Mayweather, if there's anything to be disappointed about it's how poor Pacquaio actually is in relation to Mayweather.

Those claiming Manny would win for the last 5 years are the reason this fight ended up happening. They promoted it. There's a beautiful irony in it.

Manny fans created the conditions for a fight that was always a mismatch and then complain that they paid for a fight that was bad - blaming Mayweather for fighting like Mayweather and not blaming Manny for not being good enough.

Way too much running, holding, & posing while doing nothing and very few punches landed. It looked almost more like ballroom dancing than a fight. Total ****ing ****, that made the sport look bad.

 

It was a big letdown unfortunately and not very exciting at all. But I´m glad that´s out of the way. Now they can retire and hopefully boxing can be rebuilt.
