How can Mayweather dominate the fight, but he's the one getting hurt?

Think about it. Manny wasn't even fazed.

The guy getting hurt multiple times is Floyd.

Boxing officiating is getting softer and softer.

it's a problem i have with Floyd's style, he pillow fights and makes it difficult to get hit. There were rounds where commentators were claiming floyd landed 17 vs Pac 6 and i was like 'wtf, what 17 punches did he f land?' very soft jabs and punches but hey, that's what counts. I hate how he wins like this but here's the deal, if you know this wins you fights, why change? Why risk more? I don't blame him, i just hope judges would reward the attacker more and reward pillow punching less. To me, a couple of soft jabs are like no punch at all. In the end, it's a fight and there should be an intent to hurt...

Watching classic fights from it seems the emphasis was on hitting hard more than just outlanding.

Because Floyd won more rounds. It's that simple. Floyd did not come close to schooling Pac like the clown above believes though.

Don't know if I'd go that far.

But yea through history the man doing the hurting would typically win.

At the very least a lot of respect is giving to the guy doing the hurting.

    It's not the amatuers.

You can't win by landing a few big shots. Even if you get knocked down you can come back and even it 9-9.

On sky the commentators were complaining."what has manny done?" And during the time they are discussing for near to 40 seconds manny had landed 5-6 punches to floyd's 0

Why can't you win on a few big shots? If the other guy isn't even coming close to hurting you and you're rocking him.

    It's a fight.

Fights are scored round by round hurting a fighter may win you that round but doesn't factor into the scoring of any other round.
